And Then There Was One

Constantine's Sidearm has been on a very long hiatus. This is mostly due to the fact that it seemed as if we were preaching to the choir about most things; our readers are all very much in sympathy with our views. But perhaps it is time for a different outlook: the need for us, and our readers, to disseminate information to a larger audience. Evangelize, as it were; try to bring more people into the fold, by making known the news and events that Mainstream Media (Make-Believe Media, Motherf*cking Media, etc.) refuse to cover in their effort to keep the proletariat ignorant and docile. The 2012 elections will be here before we know it, and HUGE changes need to be made across the board. So, without further ado...

Later today, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker will sign legislation that will legalize the concealed carrying of firearms in that state, the 49th to do so. That leaves Illinois as the only state in the union that does not allow American citizens to exercise their constitutional rights. The fundamental Right in question time and again has been legally proven to be an individual right, not a collective one. Common Sense ought to tell us that, as every other amendment in the Bill of Rights is inherently an individual right, but Common Sense is as foreign to most people these days as dactylic hexameter. As such a right, it should be beyond the power of any government body, federal, state, county, local, whatever, to impinge upon. And yet Illinois does, selectively and vindictively. Why do we allow this?

"A well regulated militia, being necessary to a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

Your Spectral Cavalier has explained this before, but for clarity's sake let us go through it again:

1. A well regulated militia does not mean a National Guard. Nor does it mean a strictly controlled and monitored civilian police force. A militia is a body of citizens called together in times of emergency or unrest who are then disbanded after the disturbance has been dealt with. It is not a standing force. In the parlance of the Founding Fathers, "well regulated" meant "well supplied" or "well equipped", and the citizens were expected to be self-sufficient in that regard. They were expected to have their own firearm, powder and shot. It was the driving concept behind our famous Minutemen: within one minute of getting the call, citizen soldiers were expected (and able, for the most part) to grab their gun and their gear and start heading toward the muster sight/battlefield.

2. Notice how the authors of the Constitution made a point of saying "necessary" to a free state. They didn't say "handy", or "not a bad idea", or "couldn't hurt"...they said "necessary". As in, "We definitely NEED this." Why do we NEED it? To protect us against foreign kings being dicks, dirtbag zealots trying to blow things up, and our own government getting all uppity and trying to run our lives for us. The government is supposed to work for us: that is why we are citizens, and not subjects.

3. The "right of the people" means just that: people, i.e. individuals. Not groups or armies or even militia: the PEOPLE. You and me. The knuckleheads who continue to pay galling taxes to support the re-elections of assholes who don't give a shit about anything other than their cut of said taxes.
Every other amendment in the Bill of Rights refers to individual right, not a collective one. So why should the 2nd Amendment be any different? To say the Framers meant otherwise is ludicrous. It's #2 for crying out loud, not #10 or "*see below".

4. The concept of keeping and bearing arms should be pretty self-explanatory, but apparently it is not. So let's make it simple: "keep and bear" means "own and carry". It does not mean "purchase after an extensive, restrictive and overly complicated process and then store unloaded and locked up in a safe where you can't get to it if you need it."

5. "Shall not be infringed" means, quite frankly, "don't fuck with this". Glaringly straightforward.

I've heard all of the arguments against private ownership of guns, and they're all daft. Not to mention unconstitutional. The adage that "guns don't kill people, people kill people" is absolutely true. A firearm is a tool, not a sentient being (well, for those of us of a more mystical bent, perhaps they are, but I digress). Restrictive firearm laws lead to higher crime rates: that is a proven fact. The highest crime rates in the United States are ALL in areas where the gun laws are the most restrictive. Why? Because the only thing accomplished by those laws is the removal of self-defense. Criminals by definition do not abide by the law, so restricting or outlawing guns does not affect them: it only affects their prey.
Here's one anti-gun mantra I love: "If everybody has guns, the whole country will turn into the Wild West!" Well, no it won't. It hasn't happened in places where ordinary citizens are allowed to carry firearms; crime rates in those areas have fallen steadily over the last 25 years. Plus, not everyone likes to carry a six-shooter in a custom leather rig, so it wouldn't be the case even aesthetically. (Personally, I'd love to walk around with a single-action Colt .45 on my hip, but I'm weird that way.)

How have the gun bans in Great Britain and Australia worked out? By all accounts, horribly. Sift through some non-MSM websites and see for yourself.

But hey, Ghost Knight, man...if we got rid of ALL the guns, we could just groove on peace and love all the time, you dig? Well, ignorant hippie...you're an idiot. Put down the bong, stop hugging the tree for a second, and OPEN YOUR G*DDAMNED EYES! Run your peace & love rap by some islamic nutjobs and see how they respond.

The Second Amendment is our concealed carry permit, people. It's high time those in power remember that.

The Kentucky Rifle and the California Liberal

They didn't miss a beat, did they? Sure as hell didn't let this tragedy go to waste: a lunatic guns down an Arizona congresswoman, a 9-year-old girl, and a dozen others, and before the bodies are cold the progressive, liberal Left ramps up the hate rhetoric, assigning more blame for the carnage to Sarah Palin, the Tea Party, and every gun owner in America than to the shooter himself. But that's okay: it's only hate speech when conservatives do it. When liberals do it, it's freedom of speech and old-fashioned aggressive politics. It seems that Fiberals and Proglodytes (two terms which I am hereby trademarking, as of right now) are as incapable of hate speech as they are clear thought. (Although this little post at Ace of Spades HQ might say otherwise, at least about the hate speech.) Let's see if we can drain the collective swamp of liberal thinking a bit, help them find their way.

Two things, polar opposites in intent, have had a profound effect on this nation: one good, one horribly bad. They are, respectively, the Kentucky Rifle and the California Liberal.

The Kentucky Rifle, for those of you who don't know, is the Grandaddy of American Firearms. The longer barrel and rifled bore made it far more accurate at much longer ranges than the smooth-bore muskets of the day, and the sharpshooters of the American frontier were quick to recognize the advantages. The Kentucky Rifle became an indispensable tool of survival. Better shots meant more food on the family table. It also meant tipping the odds on the battlefield: many foreign officers and Indian war chiefs felt the long-barreled sting even before they heard the shot. The Kentucky Rifle did more than its fair share of work, not only in forging our nation, but in forging what has become a long-standing American tradition, and indeed a Constitutionally protected right: the private ownership of firearms. The Founding Fathers deemed it so vital they gave the right its own section in the framework of our nation:

Amendment II: A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

And so it began. The American tradition of gun ownership. Privately owned firearms used to feed and defend our families, and to protect our sovereign rights as a nation. All sired by the Kentucky Rifle, and living on in myriad forms today: rifles, shotguns, and handguns of all makes, models, and calibers, civilian and military. Hundreds of millions of guns owned, enjoyed, and indeed cherished by millions of Americans.

Enter the California Liberal. (Actually, like firearms, liberals come in various sizes and calibers, but the California types are usually the loudest and most obnoxious, so for the sake of our readers I'll just go ahead and pin the rap on them as the representative douchebags.) Nuts to the 2nd Amendment, the Caliberal says: guns are dangerous, you can't carry them around. Guns kill people, they aver: we should get rid of them. Let the police handle it, they say: surely armed criminals won't be able to harm your ENTIRE family before the cops arrive. Better a woman raped and killed at knife-point than a sexual predator killed by gunfire...that logic seems to play in liberal circles. Right up to the tragedy in Tucson: one gun owner goes crazy, therefore all gun owners must be bad. Sarah Palin likes guns, so let's kill her. We're smarter and better and more evolved than you; we know best, so we're going to scream it from the rooftops until you wise up and bow down! So the Caliberals claim; they make the world safer. And they sure do: safer for criminals and terrorists.

You get the idea: flawed logic and muddied thinking. The hallmarks of Fiberals and Proglodytes everywhere.

New Year, Same Results

Following up yesterday's theme of threats to America, let's take a look at a big threat to everyone: the death-cult of islam.

The islamic fifth column is, unfortunately, alive and well in our nation. With the likes of CAIR and the ACLU defending them and crying foul at every turn, it's no wonder so many ignorant people fail to see the true face of the followers of Mohammed. There is no shortage of loud, brash people ready to villify Christians at a moment's notice for any imagined slight, but make speak out against islam? Fuck you, buddy...you're a racist, narrow-minded asshole.

Am I really? Let's take a look at some facts. Here's one reported by Religion of Peace: in their annual jihad report for 2010, islam staged 1987 attacks in 46 countries against 5 religions, accounting for 26,611 casualties, 9175 of which were fatalities. That's an average of over 5 attacks per day at over 13 casualties per attack. Yet the Progressive Left would have us believe that Americans and our lack of understanding is the real problem, not the inherent violence of a cult that believes its religious tenets should also be political policy; that ritually, brutally abuses and degrades women; that believes non-muslims are unworthy of any respect or courtesy.

Of course, you will hear the tired refrain of "those radicals are not really muslims" or "true muslims don't condone those acts". While that may be true in isolated instances, once again reality flies in the face of that convention. Islamic countries around the world have always been dangerous for non-muslims, and are increasingly so. And, as I mentioned yesterday: where is the public outcry of these "moderate" muslims against the more unhinged of their fellows? Nowhere to be found; the silence is almost deafening.

Two Down, Two To Go

Posting here at the Sidearm has fallen by the wayside in recent months. More accurately, it has been kidnapped by shadowy government agents and held in isolation. But we have broken free, neutralized our captors, and reappeared with a new vigor and sense of purpose.

That purpose? Continuing the fight to save this country from itself. Saving America from the lies, depredations, crimes, and rank stupidity of the Obama administration; from the terrorists of radical islam actively trying to destroy our nation, and from the so-called "moderate" muslims who continue to do NOTHING to stop them; from the unabashedly socialist policies of the Left; from fifth columnists of myriad stripes: eco-terrorists, supporters of illegal immigration, anti-Christian groups, "Progressives", PC thugs, militant feminists, the velvet mafia, class warriors, and race-baiters to name but a few.

Hopefully the newly-minted Speaker of the House and his fellow conservatives can start us off on the right path, and quickly. (Certainly, the repeal of Obamacare, the most hideous crime ever foisted on the American people, is of the utmost importance.) We've had two years of "hope & change", and what has it gotten us? Hope that the changes we've seen won't accelerate this country's slide into total ruin.

Those currently in power will not relinquish it willingly, despite their obvious and dangerous ineptitude. So we must wrest it from them, by any means necessary. Failure to do so will result in the increasing balkanization of this country, and its ultimate demise. America used to be such a proud nation, and rightfully so. No longer. But the irons are in the fire to forge it anew, and we must begin to hammer away with strength and purpose. The next two years will be among the most important years of our nation. The time is now.

The City That Works, As Long As You Pay

Even though I live on the South Side of the city, the majority of days that means I'm upwind of Chicago, and I'm grateful for that. Because the stench from that Democratic sty gets worse every day.

Today's Tribune headline reads: "City wants $1 billion more for O'Hare plan." The project, an expansion of the airport, is already over budget and behind schedule. When the city introduced the plan back in 2001, the cost was estimated at $6.6 billion. Latest jabberings from Shitty Hall...Little Big Man's private sty...is that in order for the project to fully succeed, final costs may exceed $15 billion.

I'd like to say I'm surprised by this, but I'm really not. This is how Chicago "works": imagine a grand scheme to "improve" the city; ram funding bills and taxes down citizens' throats; make sure project money is steered to cronies to pay off markers issued behind closed doors during elections; hire corrupt, unionized companies to drag their feet through construction; fall behind schedule and demand more money; return to step 2 and begin again. The Chicago Machine has become legendary in its ability to rob taxpayers blind, renege on promises, and never deliver the goods as expected. And yet, somehow, they manage to keep re-electing the same crooks, year after year after year. Two groups Chicago can always count on to habitually fail their supporters: the Cubs, and the Democrats.

This environment, incidentally, is the same one where Prez Obingbong learned the ropes. Which explains why America is in such a sad and sorry state.

I Guess That Makes Sense

A review group supported by the science academies of the U.S., Britain, the Netherlands, and "about 100 other countries" has issued a report saying that the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, they of "the glaciers are vanishing" and "Holland is the next Atlantis" fame, should only make predictions when they have "solid evidence" and that they should also avoid "policy advocacy".

Really? People shouldn't make a lot of dumbass predictions based on incomplete computer models made without actual findings from, you know, OUTSIDE THE FREAKIN' LAB? And they shouldn't shill for whatever eco-nut douchebag kicks back the most swag, in an effort to defraud the world at large and have their pathetic claptrap made into international law?

That just sounds like crazy talk to me, but I'm willing to buy into it...

Not Dangerous In And Of Themselves

That's how the baggage of a Yemeni man was described after he and an associate were arrested in Amsterdam on Monday. The two had boarded a plane at O'Hare in Chicago. The owner of the luggage, one Ahmed Mohamed Nasser al Soofi, a Yemeni national living in Detroit, had sent his gear to Dulles International outside of Washington, D.C., then boarded the plane to Amsterdam. Contained in the luggage: a cell phone taped to a bottle of Pepto-Bismol, three other cell phones taped together, and several watches taped together.

The men were arrested on suspicion of preparing for a terrorist attack. After they had been stopped and searched in both Chicago and Birmingham, Alabama. But nothing they were carrying was illegal "in and of themselves", so they were allowed to continue on. You can be sure that CAIR or one of the other pro-death-cult organizations in this country are going to raise a huge stink over this, and yammer on about profiling, harassment, human rights, the "religion of peace", and all the other bullshit that usually piles up around incidents like this.

Which, of course, is all utter nonsense. If this wasn't a dry run for a terrorist attack, then I'm a Packers fan. (Hint: I HATE the goddamned Packers.) Soofi and his buddy were trying to find out exactly what they could and couldn't get away with, so either they or some of their fellow cultists could attempt the real thing at a later date.

Let's follow the logic, see if things add up: muslim + Yemeni national + lives in Detroit near huge muslim community known to harbor fanatics + cell phones taped to bottles + other things taped to other things + things stored in checked luggage + luggage sent on one plane while owner boards different plane + cell phones know to be used as triggering devices in bombs + muslim has 7 grand in cash + muslim on his way back to Yemen = WALK-THRU FOR TERRORIST ATTACK!!!

Pretty simple math there. What amazes the absolute shit out of me is that there are so many idiots willing to believe that this was just a series of meaningless coincidences.

Someone to Admire?

It's been well-documented how much our current pres admires Hugo Chavez, the socialist Venezuelan dictator. If none of his other policies and actions give people pause, that alone should do it. Chavez is not only a despicable megalomaniac (kinda like Bammy), he continues to strengthen his iron grip on his country, makes every effort to interfere with the politics of neighboring nations to spread his communist vision throughout South and Central America, and never misses a chance to rail against the United States (and, ironically, makes fun of Hussein along the way). Chavez is a danger to personal freedoms everywhere.

Ol' Hugo is well on his way to turning Venezuela into an All-Star totalitarian regime. He controls all but one of the media outlets in the country, not to mention most of its economic infrastructure. The lengths he goes to in an effort to silence opposition voices is downright Orwellian. He arrests his critics on a whim, holds them without trial, confiscates their property, and when necessary (which is usually quite often) attacks family members. Complain about Chavez's policies? Under arrest. Complain that the government has confiscated land without cause or compensation? Under arrest. Low enough on the totem pole to be a convenient scapegoat for another presidential gaffe? Under arrest. Farmer, merchant, teacher, policeman...doesn't matter. Speak out against Chavez and you're taking your life in your own hands. Intentionally vague and all-encompassing charges of "conspiracy" are rampant. Chavez even has his own TV show, which he uses not only to harangue the oppressed masses, but to publicly denounce his enemies and "suggest" prison terms for them. Assuming, of course, the process has actually gotten that far. By law, the authorities can keep a case open for 6 months, and return one of three verdicts: the person is innocent, there is enough evidence to go to trial, or the case needs further review and is held open for another 6 months, in which case a person can be held without trial indefinitely. Sounds like an impressive nightmare to me, and I've barely scratched the surface of Chavez's regime.

So what is there in Chavez for Hussein to admire? Someone needs to ask the prez that question.

Intolerant Me

That's pretty much the story these days. People finding me intolerant because I have opinions and convictions that I'm willing to stand up for, willing to defend. I am unwilling to see things through an ultra-broad, gray-shaded, multicultural lens, hence, I am a hate-filled, paranoid psychotic with all sorts of sick ideas in my head.

You betcha. I actually had a now-former friend tell me my postings were "sick". Not that it's a big deal: said ex-friend is a vegetarian, tree-hugging, non-violent, agnostic neo-hippie, so it's not like we had much discourse anyway. He's a real "tool": i.e., a hyper-liberal douchebag that just can't understand why everyone doesn't think like him. He finds my abhorrence of islam "intolerant", and my personal opinion of the Dear Reader "sick". Never mind that he has only the most basic understanding of islam; he knows he is right because he had a few muslim kids in a music class on 9/11. Never mind the fact that Hussein is actively trying to dismantle America; he met Hussein and his Klingon wife in another music class, when he was just a do-nothing senator/community organizer/ socialist rabble-rouser/ Chicago Machine flunky, and really digs him, I guess.

So, following this natural progression, I'm a complete maniac that's a danger to himself and society. Personally, I'm surprised he had the stones to make such a bold move; he's always been the soft and wishy-washy type. No matter: now I can add him to the "friends I don't need" list with a clear conscience. Bit of a shame, really: we had been friends since junior high, and had some really good times together. But foolish sentiment isn't going to keep my kids safe in an increasingly dangerous world, so he can cram it with organic walnuts while he admires the galloping herds of free-range chickens he doesn't eat.

But maybe I should practice being more tolerant, like these guys.

And maybe Bammy does know what he's doing...but more likely he doesn't.

A Call for Crusade

The camel's back is officially broken beyond repair. I am issuing a call for a Crusade against Islam. The continual attacks by the adherents of this religion, overt and clandestine, against any and all who oppose their goal of global sharia have gone far enough. Every day I read of another attack, another threat, another protest, another lawsuit, another deliberate, calculated move against the Judeo-Christian West and the freedoms and values we hold dear. The freedoms and values that have raised the greatest...THE GREATEST...civilization the world has ever known are under unceasing assault from creeping sharia. It is time to start pulling the weeds before they completely overrun the garden.

I encourage you to do everything you can to stop the spread of Islam in your community. Boycott Muslim-owned businesses, or ones in which Muslims have a controlling interest. Send emails and make phone calls to your local school board, let your children's teachers and principals know: we will not stand for whitewashed, Islamic-friendly studies or programs in our schools. We will not subvert our values, in the classroom or on the athletic field, to Islamic interests. We will not honor or respect Islamic holidays. We will not let our children hear about the "good" of Islam without there being equal time and effort spent on the evils of Islam.

We must not let Muslim values continue to run rampant over American values at every turn. Our women and daughters will walk free and proud on all streets safe from the taunts and disrespect of the bestial chauvinism inherent in Islam. They will not walk veiled on our streets, but turn bold faces to those who would cloister them, to display the strength and beauty and courage and intelligence that so frighten the disciples of Mohammad. Nor will we allow burkas and veils to contradict our laws: any government document, federal, state, or local, that requires a photo will be mandated to show one's face, not a piece of cloth.

Any rights or considerations that Muslims wish to enjoy they must first extend to all non-Muslims. Islam will be granted no special place, nor given any special rights, and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law when they violate the rights of others. They must earn religious tolerance by first tolerating, in their entirety, the religious beliefs of others. It is THEY who must first show respect in order to receive the same.

Sharia law must not be tolerated under any circumstances. ALL Muslims living under the jurisdiction of the United States of America will be subject to all of the laws of our country. We must never allow the mistake Great Britain has made, giving credence to sharia courts operating outside the framework of British laws. The arguments of multiculturalism that have so weakened Our Great Nation must be rendered once and for all invalid. There are no Arab-Americans, or Muslim-Americans, or any other hyphenated Americans. You are either an American, or you are not. You are either with us, or you are against us. We must never adapt or subvert our beliefs and values to Islamic beliefs and values. If Muslims wish to live in the United States, they WILL respect our laws, beliefs, and values, or they will leave.

Enough is enough. Holger Danske is stirring, and we must awaken him before it is too late.

Islam is not a religion, it is a cult. An ignorant, violent, backward, sterile, sexist, artless, hypocritical, petulant death cult. A cult that is responsible for more misery, strife, and suffering than any religious movement in history. A death cult that has never been spread by the missionary, only by the sword. A religion, more than any other, that gains more converts by threat of violence, torture, and death than willing acceptance. A death cult that places so little value on human life that its adherents find it acceptable to use women and children to carry out bombing attacks on innocent victims. A cult that must be fought on every front, at every turn, by any means necessary.

Ignore the gloss the MSM paints over the face of Islam. It is a paper-thin mask that hides true ugliness. Educate yourself, learn the truth behind the cult that was founded by a murdering thief, a bigamist pedophile, a deranged and self-involved bandit chieftain, a man who saw fit to change his "holy revelations" to suit his immediate needs. A liar and charlatan, whose "holy" book actively promotes deceit and deception when dealing with all non-Muslims.

Much like when he found it necessary to take the Supreme Court to task, and threatening action against them, when they voted to overturn the ridiculous campaign donor laws that prohibited corporations from funding political campaigns. Granted, I don't want to see foreign concerns bank-rolling anyone's war chest, but to tell corporations they can't support candidates who speak out in behalf of their vested interests is wrong. If the lazy, shiftless, and corrupt unions can do it, why can't corporations? What makes one body of citizens any more legitimate that another? (The answer to that, in Hussein's fucked-up world-view, is that unions fund the Demo-rats and corporations fund the Republicans, therefore making unions more equal.) Hussein also seems to be forgetting the point that this is exactly why the Founding Fathers created three branches of government; the Supreme Court doesn't take orders from the President.

A headline on FOXNews.com suggested that maybe it was time for Hussein to quit blaming Bush for everything; even some Democrats are wising up to this.

Well, no fucking shit. Every time Bammy runs into a situation that he can't handle, which has been all of them to this point, he not only falls flat on his face but manages to explain how it was Bush that tripped him up. Instead of, say, his gross incompetence, his shit-for-brains advisers, and an ego matched only in proportion by his wife's hideous taste in everything.

The biggest tragedy is the fact that it's taken a full year of fuck-ups for some people to finally start to realize what a clueless jackass Hussein really is. One thing his lick-spittles really try to hammer home is how the ongoing financial crisis is all Bush's fault.

But it isn't, and here's why: the real catalyst for this giant downtown were the policies of the Clinton administration, which rammed through ignorant and short-sighted ideas like funding Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and forcing banks to loan out vast sums of money to people that neither deserved nor could afford said loans. Leading economist at the time warned that whatever immediate benefit might be seen, in 3 or 4 years the harsh impact would be felt, and lo and behold it was, during Bush's first term. A crisis, much like 9/11, that Bush neither created nor had an opportunity to head off; he was just left to deal with the repercussions.

Not to mention this little tidbit: in the 8 years that Bush was in office, the federal deficit as a percentage of the GDP never rose higher than 3.56% in 2004. In 2009, Hussein's first-year mark came in at 12.93%, more than three times higher than Bush's worst showing. See the numbers here.

It's obvious that "the one" is nothing more than a practice-squad scrub. I just hope we can get him out of the game before he blows our entire lead.

What Do They Expect?

The aftermath of the earthquake in Haiti is horrifying. There is no doubt of that. But it has only been four days, and I'm already reading articles about people getting angry and frustrated over the response time of the relief effort.

What do they expect? The country is in ruins, shipping is having a difficult time docking, it takes time to mobilize rescue efforts, gather supplies and the personnel to distribute them, and done with a non-existent local communication network.

Maybe now people will begin to see that Bush didn't have a magic wand during Katrina any more than Hussein has one now.

I can't help but wonder: what kind of aid will the filthy rich rulers of the Middle Eastern muslim nations send. If history is any guide, the answer will be very little indeed. I'm betting that for the most part, the "religion of peace" will stand idly by while the infidels suffer.

According to the article I read, only 30% of people with high blood pressure need to watch their sodium intake. So, less than one-third of a fraction of the populace need their salt regulated, but Mikey wants all New Yorkers to suffer the consequences. That's like telling a city that half of the taverns in town will be closed because a handful of alcoholics can't control themselves. It makes no fucking sense, other than from a Big Brother perspective.

So I was pleasantly surprised by a small ad in Sunday's Chicago Tribune. It was a furrier ad, showing an obviously naked Naomi Campbell wearing a fur coat and nothing else. The Naomi Campbell Coat, no less. So, good for her. And good for the furriers.

Wearing animal skins to keep warm...who'da thunk it? I mean, it's only been done for what, 10,000 years or so, right?

I know I haven't posted much in the last few weeks. Part of that was due to Christmas and having the family around for most of two weeks. The other part was because of the new website. We're making good progress getting it off the ground, and we even scored an interview with a candidate for Illinois Governor, a man I'm excited about.

But not to worry: now that the routine is getting back to normal, and the cold, harsh days of winter are upon us (here in the Midwest, anyway), I'll have more time and gumption to devote to ranting about all of the foibles of the world. Don't think I've forgotten about Hussein and all of his bullshit: I haven't. And with the elections coming up (Illinois primaries are Feb. 2nd), it's time to start taking to the streets and the soapboxes to gain as many seats in Congress for the GOP as we can.

In the meantime, take a look over at SPQA. The rhetoric is less fiery, but it's still a pretty damn good site, and I'm not just saying that because I'm one of the administrators.

I had this very vision after I read a few of the comments made on another blog concerning a post about the court martial of the three Navy SEALs charged with failing to safeguard a prisoner. (The charges, by the way, are complete dreck, and hopefully will be dismissed without incident.)

This particular wretch is not only fully convinced of the SEALs guilt, he demands the "so-called soldiers" (which is utterly clueless: SEALs are Navy, not Army, and therefore not soldiers) be punished to the full extent of the law. In addition, he believes our military is made up entirely of loose cannons that should be expected to kowtow to whatever ridiculous regulations the international community lays down; as a final flourish, he also believes that each military unit should have a "political officer", answerable only to the president, permanently embedded, to make sure said regulations are strictly adhered to by our forces.

I'm not kidding. He said that. Look here.

Political officers in military units. Hmm. Wonder how that would work out?

I'm guessing it would work out very much like it did in the Red Army during WWII, where each unit was assigned a commissar, a political officer that had the authority to execute any soldier he deemed was lacking in proper party attitude. You know, the guys who set up machine guns behind their own lines, not for the purpose of killing the enemy, but to gun down any soldier that tried to run, even if they were being over-run and had a legitimate excuse to retreat? Remember those guys? And this absolute fuck thinks that would be a good idea for the American military.

Hence my vision.

I'm starting to think I should have let my reverie go on a bit longer. I hope I didn't miss myself braining him with an axe while he writhed in the mud...

...but I will anyway. Judging from some snarky comments and the political and social bent of a few prowlers around Constantine's Sidearm, it's time to clear a few things up. Again. And for the last time.

The posts here at the Sidearm can be volatile. They can be angry, amused, disgusted, appalled, shocked: fill in whatever adjective is most appropriate to a particular post. They are the thoughts and opinions of myself and Ranger Steve, and we have a First Amendment right to express them. We will continue to do so. But to address a few bullet points:

I am not a racist. While race can certainly be a factor in many of the issues we post, it is never the defining factor. I could truly care less what color a person's skin is: a good person is a good person, and an asshole is an asshole. That's a simple truth. Another simple truth is that the race card is usually played by the people for whom it is supposed to be a detriment: certain people in the black community. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are two of the worst offenders. They bring race into every issue they possibly can, whether it is relevant or not. And that does neither side any good. You can name any racial slur you want, and the sad fact is this: you will very often find a reasonable example of why that particular stereotype persists. The other side of that coin is this: it only applies to a very small portion of that community. And no community is immune. White, Black, Hispanic, Asian...we all have our crackers, niggers, spics, and chinks that are, and should be, a complete embarrassment to us all. (For the record, I find the use of the word "cracker" as applied to a white person EVERY BIT as offensive as using "nigger" to refer to a black person.)
It is truly unfortunate that there are still people of all colors that continue to see a person's skin as the defining quality of that person. That makes absolutely no sense to me. If I meet someone at a party who happens to be black, of course my initial reaction is going to be, "Here's a black guy" for the same reason his initial reaction is going to be "Here's a white guy": it's the most obvious and convenient way for us to reference each other. But when we shake hands and exchange names, he ceases to be "the black guy" and becomes "Chuck", or "Stan" or "Willie" or whatever. Then, if through the course of the evening, I find I dislike him, I tell one of my other friends "That Chuck guy is an asshole", not "That black guy is an asshole". Conversely, if we like each other, I introduce him as "Chuck", not "Chuck the black guy".
Which brings me to my ultimate point on this: racism is lazy. A person's skin color should never matter, because if we could all look past it, we'd find far more legitimate reasons to like or dislike someone.
I don't believe in the ideas of racial purity, either, or any of the other Neo-Nazi crap about race floating around these days. That's about as ignorant as it gets. Which brings me to my second point:

Constantine's Sidearm is unabashedly Pro-Israel. They have been, and still very much are, one of America's most trusted and important allies. The Hussein administration should think long and hard about alienating them further. The Islamists and other knuckleheads can think of them as the "Evil Juice" all they want: it just shows the depths of their ignorance.

Point Three: Constantine's Sidearm is fully and unabashedly Anti-Islam. Why? Because Islam is so very much anti-everything-but-islam. They do not, nor have they ever, practiced a live-and-let-live motto. They spread their "religion" only through violence. They speak through both sides of their mouths as a habit when dealing with "infidels", as we are not worthy of proper recognition in their eyes. They are the first to insult, defame, admonish, or threaten other faiths, and they are also the first to cry foul when others dare to object to islam. They do not desire peace for any longer than it takes their shattered armies to regroup, at which point they will attack again. History is full of examples to support all of these statements: look them up. Islam is the true enemy of Freedom, and as an American that offends me to my core. Thus my extreme attitude.

So there you have it. A good portion of this post was directed, as I said, at certain prowlers around the Sidearm, so if you're a regular I apologize for the semi-rant. But I felt it was time to get some things in order.

Now that I've cleared things up, I can get back to bashing the marxist twits who are trying to sell my country out to the Reds and the islamofascists.

A Little Something for the AP

The Associated Press has been caught red-handed doctoring a photo for a press release on the Climate Conference. The organization took a black and white picture of a coal plant and added all sorts of ominous orange color to it, making it seem like Hell's Own Smokestack was spewing sulfur into the air.

Trouble is, they did a lousy job of it. A good friend of the Sidearm, who has worked in the field of image manipulation for 20 years, noticed the inconsistencies and blew the proverbial whistle. Since then, the story has snowballed all over the internet, and the AP has been directly challenged.

So, kudos to our buddy Drudge Potato Al! Keep up the good work!

I'm at a Loss for An Appropriate Title

I find myself in yet another quandary. The subject of this post has me wavering between absolute disgust, as a rational human being, and blood-boiling rage, as a parent, coach, and mentor of youth.

Kevin Jennings, Hussein's "Safe School Czar", has been making quite the headlines over recent days. The truth is coming out as to what really goes on in the GLSEN (Gay, Lesbain, and Straight Education Network) founder's brain (the gentlemen over at Founding Bloggers have already done an outstanding job chronicling them, so check out their posts concerning Czar Jennings).

A rational response has already been posted over at SPQA.org.

Now, for the blood-boiling-rage-type response:

Why the fuck is this disgusting freak in any sort of position to influence children?

The lunatic left would have you believe its all under the guise of promoting a safe environment for gay kids to go to school, i.e., to stop "bullying".

I believe that is total bullshit. The real reason is that GLSEN and other organizations like it want to promote their own radical agenda in the hopes of mainstreaming their perversions.

Newsflash, Queer Nation: most of the people in this country are straight and don't want to hear about your sexual preferences.

Now, I am not a prude by any means. As long as it involves consenting adults and closed doors, pick your freak and get it on. It's none of my business, and shouldn't be anyone else's business, either. But when you throw open those doors, and start promoting those freaks to barely pubescent or pre-pubescent children, you are way the fuck out of line.

One pamphlet in particular was handed out at a meeting of Jennings' organization, where children were present by design. The booklet covered such things as fisting, rimming, swallowing, "water sports", and "mutual jerking off". And they were floating around, for anyone to pick up and read, at an event where children were bussed in to attend.

So let me ask this: if a 16-year-old boy can be charged with possession of child pornography for the naked picture his 16-year-old girlfriend sent to his phone...how is this GLSEN bullshit not promoting child pornography? At the very least it could very easily be seen as contributing to the delinquency of a minor, which, last time I checked, is a crime.

Utter bullshit, made possible by the Hussein Administration. Fine fuckin' job, there, Bammy, you ignorant prick.

As for Jennings, he's a sack of shit, and needs to be fired yesterday. If I ever see any of this GLSEN shit at any of the schools my kids attend, the school boards are going to be confronted with one pissed-off daddy, and that will not be pleasant...for them.

The last two Dems averaged a 49.5% approval rating to this point.
The last two Republicans averaged a 78.5% approval rating to this point.

In poll-speak, that a plus/minus rating of +29% in favor of the GOP. Which, in margin-of-victory terms, is a sound ass-kicking.

Harry Reid (Dumbass-Nowheresville) takes the scheisskopf honors in a landslide. We might even have to add outhouse clusters to the award for the sheer level of crap oozing out of Reid's orifice.

The sanctimonious fuckjacker declared in a statement on the Senate floor that Republicans who oppose Hussein's BFI-HC are akin to the lawmakers who clung to slavery over a century ago. He went on to add opposition to women's suffrage and the civil rights movement to the comparison.

A spokestwit for Reid, one Jim Manley, said the office stands by the remarks, and that Republicans have "done nothing but obstruct health care". Of course that's true, because Obamacare is the stupidest fucking idea since the theory of global warming.

Typical liberal bullshit. Can't admit to a bad idea, refuse to see the complete lack of logic behind their defense of a bad idea, lie brazenly and obviously about the cost of a bad idea, and when called on it, strike back with vile and offensive accusations they would never tolerate being leveled at themselves.

Tom Coburn (R-Okla), said he was personally insulted by the remarks and felt that the remarks were "beneath the dignity of the majority leader". I too am insulted, but I disagree that the comments are beneath Reid's dignity. Reid has absolutely no dignity to begin with: therefore, nothing can be beneath it.

I just finished giving out today's shit-head award, and now Ranger Steve sends me this: a homeowner's association in Virginia wants a 90-year-old veteran, a Colonel with 20 medals, including a Medal of Honor and 3 Purple Hearts, to take down the flagpole in his yard because it is not "aesthetically appropriate".

I'm pissed off for two reasons:
1. This is total bullshit, and the homeowner's association should shut their freakin' pie holes.

2. Now I have to come up with a new award on the fly, because Ranger Steve wasn't 5 minutes quicker with his emailing.

So, without further ado, I award the Sussex Square Homeowner's Association the inaugural Ranger Steve Red Jackass Award, given for donkey-brained commie bullshit like hassling a 90-year-old vet about his flagpole.

Ol' Babs wants to see a criminal prosecution of the hackers that leaked the Climate Research Unit emails that make a pretty good case for the CRU's manipulation of global warming "facts". Apparently she's very concerned about the hacking, but not so much the evidence exposing (again) one of the greatest scams ever perpetrated on the human race. I can hear her now: "Yeah, those CRU guys are totally full of shit and have been lying through their teeth about this whole global warming thing on a continuous basis for the last decade or so, but the guys who leaked the truth to the world? They're the real criminals here." Which is akin to saying, "Forget the guy who just off-loaded 5 tons of marijuana from his million-dollar yacht at the public marina, because the two surfers sitting in the sand blowing a doob are the real criminals."

A Huge Step in the Right Direction

The Swiss people, by a 15% margin, voted Sunday to ban the construction of minarets. Only 4 of the 26 cantons in Switzerland opposed the measure, giving the measure double the support it needed. The Swiss feel, rightly so, that minarets are a symbol not only of the degenerate death-cult muslims adhere to, but a symbol of their thirst for political power and the establishment of world-wide sharia law. (The Turkish Prime Minister has even compared mosques to islam's military barracks, and said the "minarets are our bayonets". Some religion of peace, eh?)

There are four standing minarets in Switzerland, which unfortunately will not be affected by the ban, and muslims will be allowed to continue practicing their despicable creed. Nevertheless, the ban is a huge victory over the armies of islam, and hopefully one that will be repeated over the rest of Europe.

I cannot express how happy I am at this. Well, let me try:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!! SCREW YOU AND YOUR GOAT-LOVING, MURDEROUS PEDOPHILE BANDIT OF A PROPHET, YOU RAG-HEADED HEATHEN BASTARDS!!!!!

Constantine's Sidearm would like to send out hearty congratulations to the people of Honduras. They have spoken at the polls, and have defied the threat of marxist tyranny, by electing Porfirio Lobo as their president.

That means that Manuel Zelaya, the former president who tried to re-write the Honduran constitution despite the country's Supreme Court ruling his actions illegal, is shit out of luck. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Zelaya was ousted in a military coup for trying to act like his fellow piece of shit and commie homie Hugo Chavez. (That's the same Chavez that Hussein admires so much. Notice a pattern?) Now maybe Bammy can pull his head out of his ass, at least long enough to reinstate American aid to Honduras.

I have to admit I don't know much at all about Lobo, but one key idea of his makes me think he's the right man for the job: he intends to encourage private investment to create jobs. Imagine that: a government with the brains to know that private enterprise and free-market capitalism is the way to improve the country as a whole. Instead of, say, trying to get the government's fingers into every small slice of pie they can find. But who would be enough of a mindless twit to think the government should run everything?

A Reason for the Death Penalty

Stories like this always make me angrier than shit. I'm always amazed at how low society has sunk in this "kinder, gentler" age. The only thing all this feel-good, no spanking, soccer-mom crap has done is raise a bunch of amoral idiots who have no fear of any consequences whatsoever. People today think they can do whatever they want, whenever they want, and if they aren't allowed their complete indulgence they become the victim.

The story I'm referring to is one from Alabama, where the Monroe County District Attorney is considering filing charges against a 14-year-old girl who may have helped arrange the gang-rape of her 14-year-old classmate, by suspects who are 16, 17, and 20. Apparently the sex started as consensual, but when all three suspects joined in, the girl repeatedly said no. The suspects did not stop, leaving the girl needing surgery and 3 days in the ICU. The other girl did have sex, but was not raped. After the incident, the men took the girls back to school, where the injured girl sat in bloody clothes for several hours before school authorities did anything.

I'm going to need a minute here...

...reading stories like this make me want to smash things into little pieces, mostly the heads of those involved.

Let's start with the crime itself. Give the suspects a fair trial; if they're convicted, execute the 20 year-old, and lock the other two up for 25 to life with no parole before 25 years. They're animals, all of them. I've stated my opinions on how rape is viewed in this country before, and I do feel that the laws need to be revised. A 16-year-old boy having consensual sex with his 14-year-old girlfriend isn't rape...it's stupid and misguided, but not rape. It's what teenagers do, and always have done. And I also think that women need to take more responsibility for their actions. Getting drunk and making a bad decision and feeling embarrassed by it in the morning isn't rape, it's a dumb move on the woman's part. Don't put yourself in that situation to begin with.
Now, I am not at all trying to minimize the horror and trauma of rape. Any woman (or man, for that matter) forced to have sex against her will is the victim of an almost unspeakable crime. That crime moves into the unforgivable realm EVERY TIME a child is assaulted by an adult. Which is another reason why I feel the laws need to be revised. A serial rapist, or serial child molester, doesn't deserve treatment or rehabilitation, especially since study after study proves that almost without exception sex offenders cannot be rehabilitated. They deserve, at minimum, life in prison under hard labor; most of them deserve a bullet to the brain and a shallow grave. But too many of the freak-show defenders of the world, like NAMBLA and the ACLU, feel otherwise. There's always an excuse, they say. I say bullshit. People need to wake up and realize there are just some evil motherfuckers in the world who need to be put down, hard and quick.

The CSHOD Award for today is a unit citation, bestowed upon the group of shit-heads at the Associated Press.

With, by my estimation, at least 4,000 things to which they could better turn their efforts, the AP found it necessary to filch a copy of Sarah Palin's new book (Going Rogue: An American Life) before it's release and devote 11 reporters to "fact-checking" its 432 pages. That's roughly one reporter for every 40 pages...to "fact-check".

The fact-checking would be easier to swallow if the AP could be counted on to distinguish fact from fiction, but that is a 50-50 bet at best, and would likely come in at even worse odds than that. And why didn't the AP feel it necessary to fact-check either of Hussein's books (if he even wrote them, which I doubt), or books by such giants of literature as Screaming Joe Biden, Ted "One-for-the-Road" Kennedy, or either of the Clintons, better known as Bill & Hill Lovebirds. I might suggest it's because they're all Democrats, but I'd have to fact-check that first. Ah, what the hell...I'm going to go ahead and say, "It's because they're Democrats."

I'll be the first to admit, I had mixed feelings about Sarah Palin. I liked her and thought her personable and honest, but wasn't sure if she was the right fit for the GOP at the moment. But I'll also say this: the fact that she still scares the bejeezus out of the liberals is making me like her more and more each day. Guess I'll have to read her book, and find out more about her. Do my own "fact-checking".

Hussein's Goons Go After Boy Scouts

I thought one of the "big ideas" of Hussein's Hopeandchange Fiasco was to get young Americans more involved in volunteering and community work? Apparently some of his hired goons in the SEIU don't see it that way.

Nick Balzano, president of the SEIU's Allentown, Pa., chapter, threatened legal action over a Boy Scout's work to voluntarily clear a run-down walking path in a local park. It seems that to Balzano's mind, that falls under the category of "scab work". He feels that they city should have paid laid-off SEIU employees to do the job. According to Balzano: "There's to be no volunteers."

Of course, an SEIU spokesman is downplaying Balzano's comments, saying he had no authority to act in such a manner. That may or may not be the case, but the bottom line here is one more instance of union thugs, especially goons like Hussein's SEIU, threatening non-union people for doing things they don't like. It's one of the things that make so so adamantly anti-union: their disgusting sense of entitlement just because they're in a union. Having spent several summers during high school and college working around and with union members, either at construction sites or in factories, I've seen this type of bullshit first-hand. Lazy, careless, and very often inept workers grumbling when someone upsets their routine by actually doing some work. Twice I have been personally confronted with this situation: once as a laborer installing drywall, once as a forklift operator. Apparently I was "getting too much done" in the course of my shift, and was making the union guys look bad. Silly me, thinking I should actually do the job I was getting paid to do in a timely and efficient manner, and not stop for a coffee break every 90 minutes. And how dare I come back from lunch early, just because I was finished eating and the only thing that makes a mindless factory job worse is watching a clock to go back to a mindless factory job for the rest of the day.

Because that cuts against the grain of the "give us more money for no reason" attitude of the vast majority of unions.

Given the new "study" released by another "government task force" concerning women and mammograms, I'm sorely tempted to launch into a profanity-laced tirade on what completely and totally useless fucking jagweed asshole lying scumbag pinheads thrive in the evil stupidity rampant in the Hussein administration...but I won't. Let's take the "completely and totally useless fucking jagweed asshole lying scumbag pinheads" part for granted, and focus on the "evil stupidity" part, without resorting to so much fucking profanity.

The evil stupidity, in this case, refers to the recommendation by the Preventative Services Task Force of the Department of Health and Human Services that women forego routine mammograms until the age of 50, which is ten years later than what is widely recommended by the medical community. Because, really, what's 10 years when it comes to cancer detection? That would only mean the difference between life and death for how many thousands of women? It's not like breast cancer is the number 2 cancer killer in women. Oh, wait a minute...YES IT FUCKING IS!!! (There's that damned profanity again).

What a gross and insidious way to begin pushing health-care rationing before the BFI-HC is even passed, which I pray to God Almighty will never be. Recommend that women wait longer to detect a life-threatening illness in an effort to cut costs. As the son of a breast cancer survivor, I find this "study" so revolting it makes me see red.

Which, in truth, is what she is trying to do with the health-care reform bullshit she's trying to get America to swallow.

Something I'd Like To Share

I happy to announce that I took my first deer yesterday morning. I've been waiting pretty much my whole life for the opportunity, and thanks to fellow Sidearmer Ranger Steve, I now have a freezer full of venison.

First, the story in brief:
Ranger Steve and I were sharing a blind on private land in a particular state. We were set up well before sunrise, sitting and waiting by 5:45am. Shortly after 6am, before it was light enough to shoot, we saw a grey mass move slowly across the cornfield to the line of trees opposite from the one we were situated in. Nothing more until just after 7am, when a good sized buck with a tall rack came across the field toward us. Because of some high brush blocking part of our field of vision, we didn't notice him until he was about 120 yards away, and he was on the run. I took aim, but he never slowed and I couldn't get a shot off, nor could Ranger Steve bring his gun to bear. Five minutes later, another smaller buck followed, more slowly. He stopped to eat at about 100 yards, but with the iron sights I was using on my muzzleloader, I didn't feel confidant taking the shot. Ranger Steve passed me his scoped one, and I took aim and waited, as the buck was slowly on the move again and getting closer. At 85 yards he stopped to eat again, and when he picked his head up, I fired. I lost sight of him because of the smoke, but Ranger Steve said he was running with his tail down. We waited for a bit, to see if any others would follow (which none did), and went to search. We found him on top of a small hill just inside our tree line, maybe 40 yards from where he was hit, dead. The shot had entered a bit low, hit a rib, then ricocheted up through both lungs and out. A good, clean kill.

I'm still smiling about it. It was an awesome experience, and one I hope to repeat. And one that I hope my children and grandchildren repeat as well. And really, its a tribute to so many things that make America great. Fine traditions that are constantly under siege by a great many in this country: hunting, private firearm ownership, the private land that we hunted, the freedom to move and travel as we see fit, not as some governmental agency tells us. Just the pure exercise of Freedom. For all the experience was, and it was an awesome and multi-layered experience, one thing it most definitely did was add a steel girder to my resolve to not let those freedoms be taken away by those who think they know better. They don't.

2010 is the beginning of one of the most critical times in our Great Nation. Starting at the polls, and continuing as wide and as far as need be, we need to reclaim this country from the likes of Hussein and his administration as well as his backers. We must strive to protect what so many have fought and died for, what so many have lost sight of, what so many fail to see. Because someday I'd like to be there as my son watches his son take his first deer.

Thoughts on the Ft. Hood Shooting

Before I go any further, let me express my deep condolences to the victims and their families who have suffered because of this nightmare. May God grant you solace, strength, and healing.

I kept putting this post off, because every time I thought about it or read something new on the shooting, my blood started to boil, and I didn't want to just slough this off as another rant to blow off steam on how pissed off I am at the stupidity and ignorance rampant in this country. I wanted to use the opportunity to make a sound and logical argument as to why we as a nation are at war with islam, and how this tragedy is a prime example of that fact. Too many in this country refuse to accept that, for a number of reasons in addition to stupidity and ignorance: stubbornness, myopia, peacenikitis (a new word I just coined), media bias, misinformation, their own anti-Americanism...the list goes on. So I'm going to try to finish the puzzle for them without having to resort to flipping the table over and just knocking some heads together.

Islam is at war with the United States of America. That is a plain fact. The media, the prez, the various paid mouthpieces like CAIR and the ACLU, muslims living in America, and several others would have you believe otherwise, but that is nonsense. The war has been going on, at the very least, since the bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut in 1983. Over the years it continued to quietly escalate, until the disastrous 8 years of the Clinton presidency allowed the craziest of the lunatics to plot and carry out the attacks on September 11th, 2001. The first World Trade Center bombing, the attacks on US embassies abroad, the attack on the USS Cole, the ceaseless attacks on our military, the shooting at Ft. Hood: all conceived, planned, and executed by muslims. Even the constant threat posed to Israel, America's only true ally in the region despite the current administration's best efforts to undermine that friendship, has a direct relation to this deliberate aggression. On an almost daily basis, muslim leaders around the world denounce the United States, revile us as the Great Satan, and call for our immediate and merciless destruction. The solid proof of this overwhelming attitude is legion, and yet people still refuse to acknowledge what their eyes and ears tell them. They say that "real" muslims don't share this attitude; they say that the negative press is just a construct of the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy and conservative hate-mongers; some believe, aided by islamic propaganda, that it's all a Jewish plot, and that a fictitious Global Zionism is really to blame. They blame American imperialism, capitalism, racism, ethnocentrism; they blame the Military-Industrial complex, the oil barons and the defense contractors, the Old Boy network of racist, chauvinistic, white males, and, of course, they blame George W. Bush. I'd be willing to bet that somewhere in this country there are people who blame global warming for islamic aggression. They rant and rave and point the finger everywhere except the very direction it needs to be pointed: squarely at islam.

Despite the intense propaganda effort to show otherwise, islam is not, nor has it ever been, a religion of peace. It has never been spread by anything other than violence. It is true that other religions have, in the past, been spread by violence as well. But those times are centuries gone, and even taking that into consideration, other religions have overwhelmingly been spread in peaceful ways. Not so islam: it always has been, and continues to this day to be, spread by the sword, bullet, or bomb. A bit of on-the-spot evidence: there are over 50 shooting conflicts in the world today, and muslim forces are involved in almost every single one of them. And one would be hard-pressed, hard-pressed indeed, to find a case in any nation where the influx of muslim immigrants has not led to serious social problems, if not outright violence, because of islam's view of the world. It's very simple to them: you are either muslim, or you are not. There is no room for middle ground, or even separate ground. Sharia must be absolute: that is the belief. Is there ever any kind of meaningful outcry from the "peaceful" muslim community when tragedies like the Ft. Hood shooting occur? Rarely, if ever. Some might express concern over an event, but they always stop short of actually condemning the perpetrators. Very much along the lines of "We don't necessarily agree with the method of delivery, but we agree with the overall message." Convert, submit, or die: that is the islamic way.

(Let me interject here to say this: proposing that the violence done in the name of Christianity is as bad or worse than the violence done in the name of islam is an absolutely untenable argument. I'll prove that in a post to follow soon.)

Unfortunately, the "die" option is the one Nadal Hasan chose for 13 people, and attempted to choose for 29 others. Evidence is piling up, despite obstructions put in the way by the Hussein administration, that intelligence agencies knew Hasan was very potentially dangerous, and that he is very likely not alone in his sentiments and position. People who worked closely with Hasan remarked often about his attitudes: about how he spoke out against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan as they particularly pertained to muslims, about his recurrent tirades in support of his faith, about his attempts to contact Al Qaeda, about his increasingly violent and antagonistic behavior. All of this centered around one thing, and one thing only: islam. His killing spree was spurred on by one thing, and one thing only: islam. The death-cult of Mohammad is unquestionably at the very core of this entire incident. Islam is the reason behind the shootings.

Yet our president cautions us not to jump to conclusions. In truth, as he is a muslim himself, that is hardly surprising. The Director of Homeland Security cautions us against rash judgement. Why? Will any facts surface to unseat islam as the root cause of this tragedy? Of course they won't, but that is part of the propaganda machine. People are free to blame whatever they want on whoever they want whenever they want, especially if that blame can be laid at the feet of white, male conservatives, but it is unacceptable to blame muslims for anything. Any crime committed by a muslim must not mention the fact that the criminal is a muslim, because that is considered inflammatory and unnecessarily biased. Organizations like CAIR will stoop to any level to accuse anyone of anything, and they claim it is their right to do so; but let one person cast any kind of dispersion on muslims or islam, and they are guilty of a hate crime and must be persecuted. And this is, and has been, the modus operandi of islam in America. Blame everyone else while refusing to accept blame. Expect complete freedom of thought and speech while demanding that everyone else's be denied. Criticize, lie, and agitate while demanding protection from retaliation. Expect everything while giving nothing. Replace the U.S. Constitution with sharia law. This is their goal.

The homegrown threats are mounting, and will continue to mount, as long as so many people in this country continue to ignore them or dismiss them as inconsequential. Hasan's actions at Ft. Hood speak volumes: volumes about the threat of islam to the American way of life. Threats to Freedom and Peace. The time to take action is NOW. And if our current president won't take those actions, then the citizens of America need to find leaders who will, while we still have the ability to elect them.

As for Hasan himself, he is a dangerous criminal and needs to be treated as such. He is not mentally ill, and mental illness must not be allowed to factor into his prosecution. He should be given his fair trial; then he should be executed without mercy like the animal he is so that justice can be served.

To Honor The Fallen

Condolences to the family of SSgt. Olaf "Oz" Schmid, of the 2 Rifles Battle Group of the British Army. An expert bomb squad member, Schmid risked his own life to defuse more than 60 IEDs in Afghanistan, saving countless lives in the process. Schmid was killed instantly by the roadside bomb he was trying to defuse Saturday. It was to be his last mission before a two-week leave.

It saddens me that a soldier of any nation has to die because of the islamic scum that inhabit the world. May God give SSgt. Schmid eternal rest, and may He give soldiers of all nations the will, strength, and courage to fight the enemies of goodness and righteousness, until they are no more.

The ones who stood around and watched, laughed, and took pictures, should be thrown into a maximum security prison for 20 years without parole. If they get raped in jail, they should be laughed at, then ignored.

And those are my "Nice" suggestions.

I've Got This Great Idea For A Movie...

Well, maybe not a movie, but at least a sketch on some lame comedy show. Here's the pitch:

I find myself in an isolated out-house with no toilet paper in sight. After a frantic search of walls, ceiling, pockets, etc., I find a copy of the koran under the toilet tank. With a shrug of my shoulders, I tear out a page and proceed to attend to business.

Sounds hilarious, doesn't it? Playful, at least? Playful in the way HBO execs thought Larry David urinating on a picture of Jesus was "playful"?

Well, fuck HBO and Larry David both. Apparently it's okay in their eyes to yet again make crude and ignorant jests at the expense of Catholics and Christians in general, and we're just supposed to laugh it off. Okay, fine...free speech and freedom of expression and all.

So does that make my sketch idea free speech or a hate/thought crime? In case you're wondering, let me answer that for you: if I were to actually film that bit (and I might), I would be branded with all sorts of unpleasant and utterly PC labels, and likely be either sued for defamation, charged with a hate crime, or both, and very likely become the target of a fatwa and receive all sorts of interesting death threats to me and my family. Which is utter bullshit; if what David and HBO pulled isn't defamation or a hate crime, neither is my idea. They're either both free speech and protected by the Constitution or neither of them are.

I am sick to fucking death of all the opportunist-PC shit that goes on in this country. Seems like everything is wrong and/or a hate or thought crime, unless it targets white males or Christians, then it becomes comedy and free speech, and us White Christian Males are over-reacting, as we typically do because of our chauvanistic bully-boy attitudes.

This is a shining example of what rampant liberalism does to a once-proud nation.

They'll forgive me if I don't lose any sleep over this, and not just because they're French. Graves of all kinds all over the world are desecrated by muslims on a regular basis, with absolutely no regard for the interred or their religious beliefs. So I could care less about a handful in a place where WAY more than 8 American Christians died so the Frogs could live free.

What is odd to me is the choice of graffiti. Swastikas on muslim graves? Were the vandals being ironic or paying the dead a compliment?
