But I guess it's okay...I mean, the Norks are planning to launch a long-range missile (another one) sometime in early July, possibly on the 4th, and it ain't because they want to join the festivities. But the missile they're launching only has a range of 4,000 miles, and Hawaii is 4,500 miles away from the Korean peninsula. That gives us a 500-mile buffer, and it's not like the Norks will ever find a way to close that gap, right?

It only takes a few minutes, and they don't take donations larger than $150. That's something else, isn't it? If this were a Democrat, they'd be finding ways to have $1000-a-plate Hollywood dinners to collect the money.

Why We Have the 2nd Amendment
What's happening in Iran is exactly why the Founding Fathers inserted the 2nd Amendment into our Constitution. When a regime illegally tries to retain power, over the wishes of the people, then free citizens are obliged to take up arms and regain their freedoms. Which is why one of the first things all totalitarian regimes do when they take power is try to disarm the citizenry. Very much like Hussein is trying to do to free Americans as we speak.
Take away a people's ability to resist, and they can be controlled. It's been said many times, but it bear repeating: an armed man is a citizen, an unarmed man is a subject.
People in Iran seem to be getting the message; when will more Americans wake up to what Hussein is trying to do here?

Death Penalty 101
Sick and twisted minds like this have no excuse for living. A Maine mother, with four children ranging from 18 months to 5 years old, has been arrested for child pornography. A special unit in England tracked her through the web after receiving a tip that some British freak was showing inappropriate material of children. Police made a positive ID of Julie Carr from video evidence.
If convicted, Carr faces 20 years in prison for each charge. Bullshit, I say. If she's convicted, they ought to string this sick bitch up and let her kick. Then we'll know for sure that she'll never harm children again.
Child molesters have the highest rate of recidivism of any type of criminal. They can't be rehabilitated. So they should be exterminated. At the absolute least, they should be locked away for life with absolutely NO chance for parole. Ever. Die now or die in prison: that ought to be their only choice.
This is not some case of an 18-year-old boy having consensual sex with his 16-year-old girlfriend. That's not child molestation, that's two kids being teenagers. Misguided and not very bright, perhaps, but not molestation. But a mother using her own children to satisfy some pervert overseas? That is wrong in every way, and she needs to pay for it, and pay harshly.

Thank God for Small Miracles
Continental Airlines made a colossal blunder Sunday, when they put a 10-year-old girl flying by herself to see her grandparents on the wrong plane. Flying out of Boston, she was headed for Cleveland but somehow wound up in Newark.
I understand that mistakes can happen, but seriously, how stupid can people get? The airline claims it was a miscommunication, as the two flights were using the same door. My take is: don't you think someone would have triple-checked that a little girl was absolutely on the correct flight? Maybe this is hitting too close to home for me, as I have a daughter, but where has common sense gone in this day and age? People at airports can pull my crippled, 70-something father-in-law out of line EVERY time he flies to be double-checked by security, but no one can pay enough attention to a 10-year-old to see she gets on the right plane? Thank God she was found unharmed.
I don't know how this would work out legally, but I think the girl's father should be granted a few free swings at airline representatives.

Where's the MSM on this one?
Four free Gitmo prisoners, Chinese Uighurs, are currently in Bermuda, glad to be free, and "hold no grudges against the United States for their captivity."
Why? Because life in China was worse than Gitmo.
Guess the Red Chinks use a bigger bucket for their water-boarding, eh? Yeah, that's probably it...
Haven't seen a single burp of this in the MSM, and barely a peep on all the freed detainees that are right back to being terrorists.
"Obama" must be Nigerian for "Complete Asshole".

Kudos to Vogue
Finally, someone has spoken out against the ridiculous trend of the Size 0. Alexandra Shulman, the editor of Vogue magazine, has sent letters to fashion designers in America and Europe, accusing them of deliberately sending fashion magazines tiny clothes to force them to hire skinny, waif-like models, and she's had enough.
Well, I say good for her. From a personal standpoint, I will never understand how female models that are built like 13-year-old boys are considered attractive by anyone. They are bony and angular, completely devoid of anything womanish, like curves and soft lines. From a parental standpoint, I'm happy because there is a frightening amount of bad influences toward girls and young women, and an unhealthy body-image is just the tip of the iceberg. But every little bit helps.
If we can get rid of rap and hip-hop and the whole "bitch/ho" attitude that comes from that, and the Clinton-begotten "oral sex isn't sex" thing, we'll be well on our way to raising girls with healthy, positive lifestyles.
Then maybe we can work on the popular feminist ideology of emasculating boys as soon as they're old enough to walk, and get them back to skinning their knees and making slingshots and handing out playground justice and everyone going home as friends. Guys knew how to work shit out until females and "sensitive" men got involved.
Now I feel like picking a fight with someone just so we can beat the shit out of each other and then go watch a game over a few beers and laugh about it.
