A Case for Cruel & Unusual Punishments
A few days ago, a man who lives in my neighborhood was arrested for soliciting a child for sex, caught during a sting. Upon raiding his home, police found the usual stash of bad stuff and carted it and the guy away.
Downright creepy. We trick-or-treated at this dude's house last year, along with all the other neighborhood kids. I don't know the guy at all, and now am glad I don't. Child molesters are the lowest of the low. When this guy is convicted, one of two things should happen: if he was in possession of the material but not guilty of any actual molestation, they ought to use Jessica's Law (which is no in effect in Illinois and several other states) to sentence him, after beating him senseless: mandatory 25 to Life term, no parole before 25 years. If he is guilty of actual molestation: after being beaten senseless, they should revive him and beat him senseless again, then revive him and beat him to death.
"No Mercy for Child Molesters": the Justice Department should add that to their motto.
All states need to pass Jessica's Law now!

Mr./Ms. Manson...A Word, Please...
Goth Idiot Supreme Marilyn Manson has issued a threat on his MySpace blog. Apparently he can't deal with people being mean to him, so "if one more "journalist" makes a cavalier statement about me or my band, I will personally or with my fans' help greet them at their home and discover just how much they believe in their freedom of speech."

2. This is why modern-day Goths bug the shit out of me. When the whole Goth movement started, it was a cool, underground kind of thing that kept to itself and didn't really care what the rest of the world thought. Now it's been popularized, glossed, and polished for mainstream consumption, and as a consequence was become weak and pitiful, much like those Emo twits I see wandering around like the "Goths" daylight servants. Goth used to be cool, and something I had fun being a part of, if not always in dress but always in spirit. Now, it's just so...wonky.

The Blue Dog Democrats, a mangy but respectable 52-seat pack of fiscally conservative liberals, are adding their bark to the GOP's howls of injustice concerning Hussein's idiotic health care plan. They've realized just how full of shit that it is, and how bad for the American people it will be. They are now demanding an overhaul to make sure that private insurers will still be a strong and viable option for the citizenry, so that the majority of the people in this country that have good health insurance will continue to have it, and not all be thrown into the back of the Soylent Green truck that is Hussein's health plan.
I wonder how long it will take for the rest of the Dumbocrats and the MSM to realize just how wrong government health care is? Hussein never will, because he's too worried about his image, so screw him anyway.

Manuel Zelaya is at it again, camping out on the Nicaraguan border of Honduras, waiting for Hugo Chavez or some other commie shill to help him regain power.
That power, of course, was taken away by the elected Honduran government because Zelaya was maneuvering to become Central America's own Chavez, doing away with laws he didn't like and setting himself up as dictator-for-life.
What is Hussein's response to the situation? Suspend $18 million in military and developmental aid to the burgeoning democracy in Honduras.
