Funny how something passed around as a "joke" can make so much sense:
A woman in a hot-air balloon realized she was lost. She lowered her altitude and spotted a man in a boat below her. She shouted to him, "Excuse me! Can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don't know where I am."
The man in the boat consulted his portable GPS and replied, "You're in a hot air balloon, approximately 30 feet above a ground elevation of 2, 346 feet above sea level. You are at 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north latitude, and 100 degrees, 49.09 minutes west longitude."
The woman rolled her eyes and said, "You must be a Republican."
"I am," the man replied. "How did you know?"
"Well," answered the balloonist, "everything you told me is technically correct. But I have no idea what to do with your information, and I'm still lost. Frankly, you haven't been much help."
The man smiled and responded, "You must be an Obama Democrat."
"I am," replied the woman. "How did you know?"
"Well," replied the man, "you don't know where you are or where you're going. You've risen to where you are due to a large quantity of hot air. You've made a promise you have no idea how to keep, and you expect me to solve your problem. You're in exactly the same position you were before we met, but somehow it is now my fault."
Good for a chuckle on a Friday.
Hey, Hussein...screw you, buddy! (Haven't said that in a while; didn't want him to think I've forgotten about him.)

Health Care Humor
Not that Hussein's BFI-HC is at all funny, but sometimes we have to laugh to keep from going crazy. So enjoy!
President's Health Care Package
The American Medical Association has weighed in on the new health care package:
The Allergists voted to scratch it, but the Dermatologists advised not to make any rash moves.
The Gastroenterologists had a gut feeling about it, but the Neurologists thought the Administration had a lot of nerve.
The Obstetricians thought they were all laboring under a misconception; Ophthalmologists considered the idea shortsighted.
Pathologists yelled, "Over my dead body!", while the Pediatricians said, "Oh, grow up."
The Psychiatrists thought the whole idea was madness, while the Radiologists could see right through it.
Surgeons decided to wash their hands of the whole thing. The Internists thought it was a bitter pill to swallow, and the Plastic Surgeons said, "This puts a whole new face on the matter."
The Podiatrists thought it was a step forward, but the Urologists were pissed off at the whole idea.
The Anesthesiologists thought the whole idea was a gas, and the Cardiologists didn't have the heart to say no.
In the end, the Proctologists won out, leaving the entire decision up to the Assholes in Washington.

CSHOD for 8/14
Today's Complete Shit-Head of the Day Award goes to...
White House Spokesman Robert Gibbs. Does this guy ever actually answer any questions? Doesn't seem like it. He gets open-ended, fill-in-the-blank sorts of questions from the liberal jackals in the press corps, ones that he can produce a sound bite for and be done with; but give him an actual question about a real concern that needs a genuine answer...forget about it. He does nothing but dance and put up smokescreens. Any question that is any way critical of Hussein and his long and ever-growing list of BFIs gets the brush off, after which Gibbs has the gall to act affronted that someone actually expected him to say something meaningful.
I try to avoid watching political television, because it drives me nuts, but every time I've seen this ass-hat in front of the camera, he's explaining to some understandably-miffed reporter why he's not going to answer their question. But, I suppose that's why Bammy has him there. If someone actually started answering questions, Hussein's rating would fall twice as fast as they already are.
Robert Gibbs, your CSHOD.

Proof of BFI-HC, Part One
I'll start off with this little piece. It was forwarded to me by a friend, who got the original from a defense lawyer his firm uses for business. The lawyer's name and company have been removed for obvious reasons: Cook County is full of Hussein's lackeys and Richie Daley's men, and I don't want to cause this guy undue hassle in court for something I posted on a blog. But I've compared his comments to the actual points in the document he speaks of, and they're dead on. The link to the proposed bill is here.
HR 3200:
Sec. 122, pg. 29, lines 4-16: YOUR HEALTH CARE WILL BE RATIONED!
Sec. 123, pg. 30: THERE WILL BE A GOVERNMENT COMMITTEE deciding what treatments and benefits you get. (Shouldn't someone like, I dunno, medical professionals be deciding what treatments you get?)
Sec. 142, pg. 42: The Health Choices Commissioner will choose your benefits for you. You have no choice! (Lousy fucker.)
Sec. 152, pgs. 50-51: Health Care will be provided to ALL NON-US CITIZENS! (Great.)
SEC. 152: PROHIBITING DISCRIMINATION IN HEALTH CARE: a) In General - Except as otherwise explicitly permitted by this Act and by subsequent regulations consistent with this Act, all health care and related services (including insurance coverage and public health activities) covered by this Act shall be provided without regard to personal characteristics extraneous to the provision of high-quality health care or related services. b) Implementation - To implement the requirement set forth in subsection (a), the Secretary of Health and Human Services shall, not later than 18 months after the date of the enactment of this Act, promulgate such regulations as are necessary or appropriate to ensure that all health care and related services (including insurance coverage and public health activities) covered by this Act are provided (whether directly or through contractual, licensing, or other arrangements) without regard to personal characteristics extraneous to the provision of high-quality health care or related services. This means all illegals (personal characteristics extraneous) are entitled to American health care. Up to you if you believe this is right and we can afford it... (So the freaking wetbacks are already the ones clogging up the system, but let's make it legal for them to fuck shit up even more!)
Sec. 163, pgs. 58-59, beginning at line 5: Government will have real-time access to individual finances and a National Health Care Card will be issued. (So when we go to the bank to see what the government has done with our money, we'll be met by some neo-SS punk asking "Papers, please..."?)
Sec. 163, pg. 59, lines 21-24: Government will have direct access to your bank accounts for electronic funds transfer. (I notice they don't say "for deposit of funds", which makes me wonder which way the funds will be transferred.)
Sec. 164, pg. 65: is a payoff subsidized plan for retirees and their families in unions and community organizations (ACORN). (What about their pension plans??? FUCK THE UNIONS AND ACORN. Let them figure it out like the rest of us, the pricks.)
Sec 201, pg. 74, lines 8-14: The government is creating an HC exchange to bring private plans under government control. (In other words, abolishing private health care.)
Sec. 203, pg. 84: Government mandates ALL benefit packages for private health care plans in the exchange. (Sounds like a pretty shitty exchange to me.)
Sec. 203, pg. 85, line 7: Specifications of benefit levels for plans means that the government will define your HC plan and has the ability to ration your health care. (But they're not trying to abolish private insurance. Really. Honest.)
Sec. 205, pg. 95, lines 8-18: The government will use groups (like ACORN & AmeriCorps) to inform and educate (sign up) individuals for the government plan. (Will there be some sort of fine for punching ass-hat ACORN shills in the mouth when they ring your doorbell. Aren't they trepassing?)
Sec. 205, pg. 102, lines 12-18: Medicaid-eligible individuals will automatically be enrolled in Medicaid. No freedom to choose. (We're going to keep beating this dead-thru-Obamacare horse and tell you that you really will honestly have a choice.)
Sec. 223, pg. 124, lines 24-25: No company can sue the government for price-fixing. No "administrative of judical review" against a government monopoly. (We'll do what we want, and to hell with you.)
Sec. 225, pg. 127, lines 1-16: Doctors - the government will tell YOU what you can make. "The Secretary shall provide for the annual participation of physicians under the public health insurance option, for which payment may be made for services furnished during the year." (Hang around all these sick people and cure their ills, and maybe we'll throw you a few bucks at the end of the year. That is REALLY going to put a crimp in the whole fast cars/hot chicks mystique of doctors. Who the hell is going to want to go to medical school?)
Sec. 312, pg. 145, lines 15-17: Employers MUST auto-enroll employees into public option plan. (Someone find the "choice" and bring it to light, quick! Anyone...anyone...?)
Sec. 313, pg. 149, lines 16-23: Any employer with a payroll of $400,000 and above who does not provide public option pays 8% tax on all payrolls. (Even if you have a better plan than this BFI-HC, you have to help pay for the pile of shit.)
Sec. 313, pg. 150, lines 9-13: Businesses with a payroll between $251,000 and $400,000 who do not provide a public option pay 2-6% tax on all payrolls. (Wait a minute...if the government wants to have this state-run bullshit around, why are they putting the onus on employers? Shouldn't they just have neighborhood offices for people to wander into? Oh, that's right...they're out to ruin capitalism as well as your health!)
Sec. 401.59B, pg. 167, lines 18-23: ANY individual who does not have acceptable care, according to government, will be taxed 2.5% of income. (Acceptable care, of course, being the gov'mint poop.)
Sec. 59B, pg. 170, line 1: Any NONRESIDENT alien is exempt from individual taxes. (Americans will pay for their health care.) (Ever just want to strangle someone until their eyes literally pop out of their head and you feel their neck vertebrae crunch under your fingers? Just asking...hey, look, an Obama Democrat!)
Sec. 431, pg. 195, lines 1-3: Officers and employees of HC Administration (government) will have access to ALL Americans financial and personal records. (And these are the people that bitched about the Patriot Act?)
Sec. 441, pg. 203, lines 14-15: "The tax imposed under this section shall not be treated as tax." Yes, it says that. (In a unique flash of honesty, it will be treated as the flat-out highway robbery it is.)
Our lawyer friend has a dozen or so other points, but I'm sure by now that you get the gist. Anyone who can read through this, and compare the notes to the text, as it were, and still think socialized medicine is a good idea is absolutely deranged. De-fucking-ranged.
Obamacare: Bad. Fucking. Idea.
Thanks to Ranger Steve for the assist.

Obamacare...
I've said several times on this blog and elsewhere that the pile of crap Hussein is trying to push off as a health care plan is...well, a pile of crap. If the prez's approval ratings and the rash of seriously irritated people gathering at town halls are any indication, I'm far from the only one. I generally refer to it by three main words: Bad, Fucking, and Idea. I'll stick with that for now, but shorten it a bit to BFI.
Hussein's BFI...wait a minute, this isn't going to work. Bammy has a shitload of BFIs, so I'll have to be more specific. Let's refer to the health-related one as "BFI-HC"; everyone with me? Good...
Hussein's BFI-HC is a mess from page one. It's reams of garbled language and misdirection all designed to obfuscate the fact that what Hussein is really trying to implement is socialized medicine and the abolishment of private insurance. It's also akin to taking apart an entire engine to check the oil. Could the American health system be improved? Sure, what industry that big couldn't stand a tweak here and there? But to screw up the system that works for 225+ million people for the benefit of 45 million, many of whom are illegal aliens, makes no sense to anyone other than a committed socialist, i.e., Hussein. Ignorant, short-sighted, foolish. BFI.
I can hear the liberal yapping. "What? Not true! Prove it, you un-American fascist!"
First of all, truth be told I'd rather be a fascist than a communist any day, so there.
Secondly...all right, fuck-jackers, I will.
Look to future posts for proof of BFI-HC.

A Brief Interlude
Proving once again that Constantine's Sidearm is not all fiery rhetoric, this nifty bit:
Work crews removing a 1,000 lb. slab of sandstone in Santa Cruz discovered fossil remains in the rock. Paleontologists believe it is the remains of a 5 million-year-old toothed, meat-eating whale that used to tool around the shallow seas in the area, a relative of orcas and dolphins. Experts believe that they will be able to determine the exact species once they put the magic eyeball to it.
I guess this is proof that all fossilized remains in California are not Nancy Pelosi.

The Founding Fathers on Guns
More from the list at this link.
Thomas Jefferson: "The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes....Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man. Thomas Jefferson's "Commonplace Book," 1774-1776, quoting 18th century criminologist Cesare Beccaria in Chapter 40 of "On Crimes and Punishment", 1764.
Thomas Jefferson: "The Constitution of most of our states (and of the United States) assert that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves; that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed."
George Mason: "To disarm the people is the most effectual way to enslave them." (3 Elliot, Debates at 380)
Noah Webster: "Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed, as they are in almost every country in Europe." (1787, Pamphlets on the Constitution of the US)
Noah Webster: "The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops" (Noah Webster, 1787)
George Washington: "A free people ought to be armed." (Jan 14 1790, Boston Independent Chronicle.)
William Pitt: "Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves." (Nov. 18, 1783)
Patrick Henry: "Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are ruined...The great object is that every man be armed. Everyone who is able might have a gun."
Thomas Paine: "...arms...discourage and keep the invader and plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property. ...Horrid mischief would ensue were (the law-abiding) deprived the use of them."
Any questions, gun-grabbers?

Thoughts About Guns in America and Beyond
I stumbled across this list of quotes here. I've highlighted some of the better and more surprising ones:
Mohandas K. Gandhi: "Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look upon the Act depriving a whole nation of arms as the blackest. If we want the Arms Act to be repealed, if we want to learn the use of arms, here is a golden opportunity. If the middle classes render voluntary help to Government in the hour of its trial, distrust will disappear, and the ban on possessing arms will be withdrawn." Mohandas K. Gandhi, Autobiography: The Story of My Experiments with Truth, Chapter XXVII, Recruiting Campaign, Page 403, Dover paperback edition, 1983.
Sigmund Freud: "A fear of weapons is a sign of retarded sexual and emotional maturity." ("General Introduction to Psychoanalysis," S. Freud)
Admiral Yamamoto: "You cannot invade mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind each blade of grass." Advising Japan's military leaders of the futility of an invasion of the mainland United States because of the widespread availability of guns. It has been theorized that this was a major contributing factor in Japan's decision not to land on North America early in the war when they had vastly superior military strength. This delay gave our industrial infrastructure time to gear up for the conflict and was decisive in our later victory
Benito Mussolini: “The measures adopted to restore public order are: First of all, the elimination of the so-called subversive elements. ... They were elements of disorder and subversion. On the morrow of each conflict I gave the categorical order to confiscate the largest possible number of weapons of every sort and kind. This confiscation, which continues with the utmost energy, has given satisfactory results.” (address to the Italian Senate, 1931)
Adolf Hitler: "The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subject races to possess arms. History shows that all conquerors who have allowed their subject races to carry arms have prepared their own downfall by so doing. Indeed, I would go so far as to say that the supply of arms to the underdogs is a sine qua non for the overthrow of any sovereignty. So let's not have any native militia or native police. German troops alone will bear the sole responsibility for the maintenance of law and order throughout the occupied Russian territories, and a system of military strong-points must be evolved to cover the entire occupied country." Adolf Hitler, dinner talk on April 11, 1942, quoted in Hitler's Table Talk 1941-44: His Private Conversations, Second Edition (1973), Pg. 425-426. Translated by Norman Cameron and R. H. Stevens.
Mao Tse Tung: "All political power comes from the barrel of a gun. The communist party must command all the guns, that way, no guns can ever be used to command the party." (Problems of War and Strategy, Nov 6 1938, published in "Selected Works of Mao Zedong," 1965)
Diane Feinstein: "US Senator, If I could have banned them all - 'Mr. and Mrs. America turn in your guns' - I would have!" (Statement on TV program 60 Minutes, Feb 5 1995)
Jill Fieldstein, CBS producer, Street Stories: Women and Guns: "As a card-carrying member of the liberal media, producing this piece was an eye opening experience. I have to admit that I saw guns as inherently evil, violence begets violence, and so on. I have learned, however, that in trained hands, just the presence of a gun can be a real "man stopper." I am sorry that women have had to resort to this, but wishing it wasn't so won't make it any safer out there. 29 April 1993.
Sen. Orrin G. Hatch: "In my studies as an attorney and as a United States Senator, I have constantly been amazed by the indifference or even hostility shown the Second Amendment by courts, legislatures, and commentators. James Madison would be startled to hear that his recognition of a right to keep and bear arms, which passed the House by a voice vote without objection and hardly a debate, has since been construed in but a single, and most ambiguous Supreme Court decision, whereas his proposals for freedom of religion, which he made reluctantly out of fear that they would be rejected or narrowed beyond use, and those for freedom of assembly, which passed only after a lengthy and bitter debate, are the subject of scores of detailed and favorable decisions. Thomas Jefferson, who kept a veritable armory of pistols, rifles and shotguns at Monticello, and advised his nephew to forsake other sports in favor of hunting, would be astounded to hear supposed civil libertarians claim firearm ownership should be restricted. Samuel Adams, a handgun owner who pressed for an amendment stating that the "Constitution shall never be construed . . . to prevent the people of the United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms," would be shocked to hear that his native state today imposes a year's sentence, without probation or parole, for carrying a firearm without a police permit."
Senator Orrin Hatch: "If gun laws in fact worked, the sponsors of this type of legislation should have no difficulty drawing upon long lists of examples of crime rates reduced by such legislation. That they cannot do so after a century and a half of trying--that they must sweep under the rug the southern attempts at gun control in the 1870-1910 period, the northeastern attempts in the 1920-1939 period, the attempts at both Federal and State levels in 1965-1976--establishes the repeated, complete and inevitable failure of gun laws to control serious crime." Senator Orrin Hatch, Chairman, Senate Judiciary Committee Subcommittee on the Constitution, 97th Cong., 2d Sess., The Right to Keep and Bear Arms, Committee Print I-IX, 1-23 (1982).
John F. Kennedy: "Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom."
George Orwell: "That rifle on the wall of the labourer's cottage or working class flat is the symbol of democracy. It is our job to see that it stays there."
The Dalai Lama: "If someone has a gun and is trying to kill you, it would be reasonable to shoot back with your own gun." (May 15, 2001, The Seattle Times)
Attorney General John Ashcroft: "Just as the First and Fourth Amendment secure individual rights of speech and security respectively, the Second Amendment protects an individual right to keep and bear arms. This view of the text comports with the all but unanimous understanding of the Founding Fathers."
John F. Kennedy: "By calling attention to 'a well regulated militia,' 'the security of the nation,' and the right of each citizen 'to keep and bear arms,' our founding fathers recognized the essentially civilian nature of our economy... The Second Amendment still remains an important declaration of our basic civilian-military relationships in which every citizen must be ready to participate in the defense of his country. For that reason I believe the Second Amendment will always be important." John F. Kennedy, Junior Senator of MA in a 1959 letter to E.B. Mann [From the 1974 Gun Digest, article titled Gun Laws]
Sanford Levinson on The Second Amendment as an Individual Right: "The structure of the Second Amendment within the Bill of Rights proves that the right to bear arms is an individual right, rather than a collective one. The collective rights' idea that the Second Amendment can only be viewed in terms of state or federal power "ignores the implication that might be drawn from the Second, Ninth, and Tenth Amendments: the citizenry itself can be viewed as an important third component of republican governance as far as it stands ready to defend republican liberty against the depredations of the other two structures, however futile that might appear as a practical matter." Sanford Levinson, The Embarrassing Second Amendment, 99 YALE L.J. 637, 651 (1989).
Israeli Police Inspector General Shlomo Aharonisky: “There's no question that weapons in the hands of the public have prevented acts of terror or stopped them.”
President Theodore Roosevelt: "The great body of our citizens shoot less as times goes on. We should encourage rifle practice among schoolboys, and indeed among all classes, as well as in the military services by every means in our power. Thus, and not otherwise, may we be able to assist in preserving peace in the world... The first step – in the direction of preparation to avert war if possible, and to be fit for war if it should come – is to teach men to shoot!" – President Theodore Roosevelt's last message to Congress.
Ted Nugent: "To my mind it is wholly irresponsible to go into the world incapable of preventing violence, injury, crime, and death. How feeble is the mindset to accept defenselessness. How unnatural. How cheap. How cowardly. How pathetic."
James Earl Jones: "The world is filled with violence. Because criminals carry guns, we decent law-abiding citizens should also have guns. Otherwise they will win and the decent people will lose."
U.S. Sen. Malcolm Wallop: "The ruling class doesn't care about public safety. Having made it very difficult for States and localities to police themselves, having left ordinary citizens with no choice but to protect themselves as best they can, they now try to take our guns away. In fact they blame us and our guns for crime. This is so wrong that it cannot be an honest mistake." - former U.S. Sen. Malcolm Wallop (R-Wy.)
Paul Hager: "One of the arguments that had been made against gun control was that an armed citizenry was the final bulwark against tyranny. My response had been that untrained, lightly-armed non-soldiers couldn't prevail against a modern army. I had concluded that the qualitative difference in firepower was such that all of the previous rules of guerilla war no longer applied. Both Vietnam and Afghanistan demonstrated that wasn't true. Repelling an armed invasion is not something that American citizens are likely to face, but the possibility of a despotic government coming to power is not wholly unthinkable. One of the sequellae of Vietnam was the rise of the Khmer Rouge and slaughter of perhaps a million Cambodian citizens. Those citizens, like the Jews in Germany or the Armenians in Turkey, were unarmed and thus utterly and completely defenseless against police and paramilitary. An armed minority was able to kill and terrorize unarmed victims with total impunity." – Paul Hagar, "Why I Carry"
Makes you think, doesn't it? Gandhi and the Dalai Lama advocating an armed citizenry? Hussein the Idiot and his lickspittle Rahm Emanuel need to look long and hard at these quotes.
Sen. Orrin G. The First Step
Just like Adolph Hitler, Hussein wants a national gun registry to first locate then confiscate American citizens' firearms. Next thing you know he'll be wanting some kind of paramilitary unit or secret police force reporting only to him...wait a second...he wants that, too. Hmm...Hitler and Hussein...two anti-Semite megalomaniac peas in a pod.
Here is the main instrument of the Hussein bid to confiscate guns:
HR 45, the Blair-Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sales Act of 2009. (See also this link.)
This bill, which is a re-worded version of HR 2666 (a bill sponsored by Hussein chief lackey, Rahm Emanuel), is sponsored by none other than Smoove Bobby Rush, (Dumbass-Il). That's the same Bobby Rush who was the "security minister" for the Black Panthers, a felon convicted on illegal weapons charges. Yes, I see the irony...
HR 45 intends to make it illegal to own guns of almost any type unless the owner complies with the following:
1. Registration of the firearm.
2. Submit to mandatory fingerprinting.
3. Supply a current driver's license.
4. Supply a current Social Security Number.
5. Submit to mandatory mental evaluations at any time requested.
6. Pay a $25 fee for each and every change in ownership through private or public sale
Any failure in any of these categories will subject the gun owner to the loss of the firearm(s) and a penalty of one year in jail. There are also provisions for child safety, subject to Government inspection at any time without a warrant, that if not complied with could result in a felony conviction, a fine, and up to 5 years in prison.
This is a blatant attempt to abolish the 2nd Amendment with every intention of disarming the American people. Why? Because disarmed people can't fight back against a tyrannical government. Hence the adage: an armed man is a citizen, a unarmed man is a subject.
Here's another adage that Hussein the Idiot and piece-of-shit fuckwad Bobby Rush would do well to remember. It's very popular with my 2 million-plus NRA brothers and sisters, and many others besides:
Registration --> Confiscation --> Revolution!

Who Is This George Soros Jerk Anyway?
George Soros is, in fact, a jerk. An egotistical, deluded, billionaire jerk of gigantic proportions. Of course, not that he is physically of gigantic proportions, but his jerkiness can only be measured in units usually reserved for galactic objects like black holes and supernovae. The only thing that doesn't bug me about him is the fact that he's a billionaire. Being a staunch capitalist, I never begrudge anyone their money. It's just a shame he uses his money in such jerky ways. (There are better ways to put that, but I'm staying with the established theme here.)
Here are some facts about Soros: he was born in Budapest in 1930; he made his money through an investment advisory firm, having a net worth of about $11 billion; he founded the Open Society Institute; his original family name is Schwartz, and he is a native Esperanto speaker (whatever that means; I didn't realize Esperanto had native speakers, it being a jambalaya kind of language).
Here are some other facts about Soros: he has been heavily involved in off-shore investments and hedge funds; he was convicted of felony insider trading by the French government; his Open Society Institute is a front for his globalist ideals; he gives millions of dollars to socialist causes around the world; he was one of Hussein's backers in the 2008 elections, and is an outspoken advocate of a world-wide gun ban.
Ever wonder where the gun-grabbers get their funding? George Soros. He's the guy that ponies up the dough that liberal ass-hats use in their attempt to abolish the 2nd Amendment. A key player in the Hussein's attempt to disarm the American citizenry. Which is why he's such a colossal jerk. You'd think a guy that witnessed his native country being invaded by a foreign power would see the benefit of an armed populace, but it must have slipped his mind when he was busy being an essential war profiteer, making his money by trading the hyperinflated Hungarian currency during 1945-1946, after spending 1944 hiding the fact that he was a Jew while working for a Nazi who was in charge of confiscating Jewish property.
Just thought I'd throw in a short bio of one of the major players behind the gun-grabbing gang. Know your enemy, and all that...

The Gun Grabbers
Today's posts are going to deal mostly with the issue of gun control. To put it one way, I'm against it. To put it another way, I'm completely and totally against it, it is unconstitutional, ignorant, and short-sighted, and absolutely, utterly fucking ridiculous.
Also permanently listed at the bottom of the page, for those of you who don't want to scroll down, here is the Second Amendment to the Bill of Rights of the Constitution of the United States:
"A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."
Right there, in black and white (or sepia on parchment, in the case of the original): "...shall not be infringed." That translates to, in common terms: "won't be fucked with." But local and state governments do it on a daily and continual basis, even though it should be illegal for them to do so.
Let's take a look at why it is illegal and unconstitutional. First off, let's examine the totally lame argument that this right only applies to organized, government-approved national guards and such-like, and not to individuals. First of all, militias are NOT National Guard units: they are units of citizen soldiers that are gathered from communities in times of crisis, with each member expected to provide his own weapon and ammunition. When the crisis is over, the unit is disbanded and free to go back to their regular lives. National Guard units are provided by the government with their weapons and ammunition, and are kept together for a pre-determined length of time, staying on until the end of that time even if the crisis has abated. In short, you can't gather a militia if no one has any weapons; all you get then is a mob. And while mobs might have a good supply of booze and be fun at parties, they won't do much against an armed opponent, other than die, get hurt, and have their kegs stolen, which is a double-whammy because then they lose their deposits.
The second reason why this is a totally lame argument follows this logic: if every other amendment in the Bill of Rights has been determined to be an individual right, why would the 2nd Amendment not be? As if Thomas Jefferson, et. al., would have said, "Hey, here's a list of things that the government must do for/can't do to the people, but we just threw #2 in there for kicks, so don't pay too much attention to it." C'mon, dude...put down the bong and think this through for a minute. You can fire it up later. It says right in the text "the right of the people", not "the right of government supplied units". Also, there is the fact that the current Supreme Court has once again made the judgement that the 2nd Amendment is, in fact, an individual right. So, nuts to that liberal whining.
The Founding Fathers were not stupid, despite what some educators want people to believe. They knew that it was important, nay critical, for the people to have the ability to defend themselves and their interests not only from foreign invasion but from an oppressive government as well. They were probably clued into this realization by the fact that they were fighting an oppressive government at the time. That might be just a hunch on my part, of course, but I'm pretty sure I can back that assessment up.
Another liberal argument that doesn't hold water is the one along the lines of "Well, states and cities and towns should have the right to enact whatever gun legislation they want." Not in this case they shouldn't and it has nothing to do with states' rights. The Constitution guarantees states' rights in everything but specific examples enumerated to the federal government or the people within the document. Just like no state or city can abolish free speech, or institute slavery, or recognize and official religion, or declare war on California no matter how lame and pathetic it is, no state or city should be allowed to infringe upon the people's right to keep and bear arms. Uncle Ted said it best: "The 2nd Amendment is my concealed-carry permit."

Every American citizen has the right to own firearms. If you don't want one, that's fine. But don't tell me I can't have one, and don't try to take it away. Gun control should mean only one thing: a tight grouping on the target.

Complete Shit-Head of the Day Award
The first CSHOD award goes to...
...Hussein, because he's a shit-head every day.
The second CSHOD award goes to...
...Doonesbury creator Garry Trudeau. I've hated this self-righteous prick for a long time, for reasons too numerous to cite here. His "comic" is the Monica Lewinsky of the funny papers, good for nothing other than daily blow-jobs to bleeding-heart liberals. His run for today really takes the cake; another spiel trying to deify "the one".
The synopsis: debate on Hussein's birth certificate, and the Republican idea that it may not be real. What really chaps my hide is this quote from the second panel:
"Hang on, brother - did Jesus ever have to produce a birth certificate to establish his standing?"
Hang on, Garry - are you really suggesting that because Jesus didn't have to produce a birth certificate that Hussein shouldn't have to either? That you would mention Our Lord and "the one" in the same breath sickens me to no end, but to actually suggest, however obliquely, that because something was enough for Jesus it should be enough for Hussein is nothing short of blasphemy. And it is absolutely fucking moronic.
Let's imagine, for this example, that Jesus of Nazareth wasn't divine, but just a regular guy with a message. Even taken in that light, what Jesus was sending out has lasted over 2000 years, and has grown to include 33% of the entire population of the world in it's message. Hussein's "message" (which changes day to day) hasn't lasted 200 days, is declining in popularity, and barely reaches 50% of the American population, let alone the world's.
So explain to me how, outside of the Hussein cult, that kind of comparison makes the slightest bit of sense in any context? I won't wait for an answer, because it can't be done.
Garry Trudeau, folks...your Complete Shit-Head of the Day.
...Hussein, because he's a shit-head every day.

A Slight Hitch in Plans
I know I promised everyone a week's worth of posting on Hussein the Idiot, but I'm just not up to it today.
I helped an old and dear friend bury her father today (RIP Vince), and spent an hour at the dentist getting a new crown, so I'm not thinking too straight at the moment.
I'll make it up tomorrow with some really excellent posts containing brilliant insight, dazzling wit, precise argument, and a dash of earthy Midwestern humor, followed by a light and pleasantly refreshing orange sherbet.

Health Care Post of the Day
Hussein the Idiot has been running his ignorant mouth about the health care "crisis" in America. The government needs to step in and socialize it, for the "good of the people", yadda yadda yadda. It's an ill-conceived and worthless plan that will do more harm than good; that's been established, and more on that later in the week.
Through it all, Hussein and his lickspittles have been touting the Canadian system, citing it as an example of where America needs to go. Remember all that? Some of the more mindless dumbocrat drones still continue to chant that particular litany.
Now this, straight from Bammy's yammering maw: "I've said that the Canadian model works for Canada. It would not work for the United States, in part simply because we've evolved differently. So we've got to develop a uniquely American approach to the problem." (emphasis added) That is a direct quote.
What an evasive, back-pedaling son of a bitch. Let me clue you in, Dear Reader:
The Canadian system doesn't work. The reason it is so much cheaper is because it provides inefficient, low-quality care. And here's a uniquely American approach to take: leave a slightly flawed but mostly efficient and effective system the fuck alone and let capitalism fix it. That has seemed to work quite well in America's past, which contrary to the liberals' thinking is filled with thousands of stories on how capitalism and the American Way has made life better and easier for the entire world.
Story here.

Chicago Goes National
I've said it before: with Hussein in the White House, America is going to get a first-hand look at politics the Chicago Way. And now they're getting it in spades.
For those of you that don't know how Chicago politics work, let me bring you up to speed. First, my credentials: I've lived in or around Chicagoland my entire life, and don't remember a time when politics weren't crooked. In truth, Republicans in Illinois are not blameless by any means, but the Chicago Democratic Machine is the author, editor, and agent of the VAST majority of political wrongdoing in this state, and Cook County in particular. (Cook County consists of the city of Chicago and the collar communities that surround it; not huge in terms of area, but massive in terms of population.) The Democratic Machine is just that: a vast network of clout, money, and gerrymandering that pays lip-service to its constituents while lining privileged pockets with tax-payer dollars. Some of its more infamous members: the prez himself, Rahm "Jewish When It Suits Me" Emanuel, Little Big Man Mayor Richie Daley, Loud-Mouth Idiot Jesse "The Rev" Jackson, County Board Prez Todd "My Old Man Would Have Wanted This" Stroger, and let's not forget Rod "Dumb Enough to Talk on An Open Line" Blagojevich. It's the real-life version of Disney's Cast of Villains. Chicago politics is controlled by inside deals, mudslinging, intimidation, false accusations, and media manipulation, and involves a great deal of acting indignant in the face of obvious wrong-doing while trying to spin the spotlight to the opposition. Sound familiar, America? Sure it does, because that's exactly how Bammy does his bid'ness.
Case in point: Chicago politicians have used union muscle to further their aims since the early 20th Century. The Machine, the Outfit, and the unions are how the Democrats have had a stranglehold on the city almost beyond living memory. And now Hussein is using the same tactic, hiring union thugs of the SEIU variety to disrupt town hall meetings. He has ordered his goons to "hit back twice as hard" in order to silence the opposition. The SEIU punks have locked doors, disallowed entry, stacked town halls, distributed propaganda, intimidated, threatened, and used physical attacks to try and stifle Hussein's adversaries.
Which makes perfect sense, seeing as how Hussein is all about transparency and hope and change. (Sarcasm)
These actions remind me of another fella that used to go around smashing up beer halls with an army of hired goons to advance his political agenda.
Of course, we're hearing from the liberal jackasses about how these conservative demonstrations against Obamacare (more on that later in the week) aren't political dissent but mob action. I have a concise and heart-felt response to them:
Fuck off, you self-righteous gas-bags.
It was okay for them to rant and rave and say all sorts of vile and disgusting things about Bush: that was the exercise of Free Speech and qualified as Political Dissent. But now that their guy is driving (the country right of the friggin' cliff), such actions have become intolerable. Typical bully mentality: act like assholes until someone calls them on it, then wonder why the other guy is getting out of hand. And this is NOT a matter of two wrongs making a right, or whatever other pacifist/vegan/hippie "moral" stance they want to take; it's a case of fighting fire with fire. The gloves are off, at Hussein's insistence. So now we'll see if the prez has the stones to go bare-knuckle. He's got his goons out for the first round; time to counter-punch.
An anecdote about Bammy's goons here.

Picking Up the Gauntlet
I'll tell you, people, I'm sicker than shit of our scumwad prez. He is a racist, selfish, foolish and ignorant egomaniac who hides his socialist, one-world agenda behind a thin veneer of smooth-talking, irrelevant sound bites. Hussein is ALL flash and ZERO substance. He's become the Teflon Prez, never allowing anything to stick to him by avoiding anything other than carefully controlled, pre-determined questions to elicit any kind of meaningful response. He's nothing more than a hustling pimp trying to bitch-slap the American people into compliance. And just like a pimp, he only attacks those he's sure can't or won't fight back.
Well, got news for ya, Bammy. Lady Liberty isn't some cheap trollop that can be whored around to your socialist comrades, nor is she a third rate non-person you can keep wrapped up and hidden, to be beaten when she doesn't comply like your raghead death-cultist friends like to do. Lady Liberty is alive and well, and fed up with you.
Lady Liberty has a strength you will never attain, a pride you will never enjoy, a dignity you will never possess. She has depth, wisdom, and conviction; you are shallow, ignorant, and oscillatory. She is honest, bold, and classy; you are deceitful, spineless, and boorish. She is everything you are not, nor ever will be. She stands for America, while you stand against it. You, Mr. Prez, are a disgrace.
And since those of us in the gun-clinging, Bible-clutching world think that it is beneath a Lady's dignity to brawl with ill-bred cads, we will gladly take up the fight for Her and defend Her honor. You won't be "hitting back twice as hard" just on the elderly any longer. With every new day that dawns, you will be fighting more and more men (and women) of strength, courage, and conviction, who have heard enough of your lies and who do not fear your hired thugs. You're after a fight, and we're here to rumble.
Hussein has thrown down the gauntlet (and he still throws like a girl). We've picked it up, and we're ready to do a little bitch-slapping of our own.
To the streets!
