Norman M. Thomas (1884-1968), was a leading American Socialist, a pacifist, and ran for President as the candidate for the American Socialist Party six times.
Here is an excerpt from a 1944 speech:
"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of "liberalism", they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened...I no longer need to run as a Presidential Candidate for the Socialist Party. The Democrat Party has adopted our platform." (emphasis added)
That is from the back molars of the horse's mouth. It started with FDR, and continues to this day with Hussein. The Donkeys are Socialist Jackasses, pure and simple.
