Tomorrow is the National Day of Prayer. A day when the whole country should (but doesn't), step back from the grind and give thanks to Our Heavenly Father for the grace he has bestowed upon our unworthy selves.
Ronald Reagan (God Rest His Soul) scheduled a Rose Garden event to mark the day. Bush Sr. had a breakfast for the occasion. Bush Jr. twice invited Christian and Jewish leaders to the East Room of the White House for a short speech and prayers from the participants. All of which showed men who believed in and valued the Judeo-Christian foundation of our country, and knew that it was important to uphold.
Slick Willy had task force leaders schedule "low-key" events. Kind of like the guy who stands up for the Pledge of Allegiance but doesn't recite it.
What is Hussein doing? Jack-shit. Issuing a proclamation. Wow. That really sends a strong message, doesn't it? A strong message to all of the scumbag muslims Hussein kowtows to, letting them know that he has to do something to save face, but isn't really in favor of it.
I'll say it again: Hussein is an anti-Christian, anti-Semitic, anti-American bastard. He is doing everything he can to undermine true faith in God while promoting a vile and ignorant death cult.
One of Hussein's lackeys stated that the prez will: "privately...pray as he does every day". I'm sure he will. Five times while facing Mecca.
Hussein and his buddies will get theirs. Very publicly, I hope.
