Katherine Nadal, 28, of Houston, was sentenced Monday to 99 years in prison for cutting off her 2-year-old son's genitals. After her arrest, she tested positive for cocaine, methadone, and Xanax. She also has a history of drug-related arrests, and was accused by her husband of taking cocaine while pregnant. She also had the gall to claim she did not hurt her son, and tried to blame the incident on the family dachshund.
Why is this bitch still alive? What better excuse could we have for using the death penalty than a drug addict butchering her own child? I don't care what excuse she offers: she is a blight on humanity. Anyone who commits such a ghastly crime against a child should pay with their life, as they have robbed that child of anything resembling a normal life. The sad part is, she could be released on parole in 30 years. 30 years versus a lifetime of hardship for her son? That does not square in my book. At the very least, she should spend the rest of her life behind bars in a maximum security prison, with no chance of parole, ever. But I stil think the best way to deal with child molesters is to remove the threat permanently.
