It's no secret how I feel about the current president. I find him dangerously ignorant, woefully misguided, monstrously egotistical, and, well, a downright pain in the ass. He's a socialist, anti-American fool. But let's think for a moment, and try to gather what we really know about him.
...hmm...
Not much, is there? And that, I find, is really cause for concern. Every President this country has had has been a rather public figure for some time before taking office. But what about Hussein?
I can tell you this: I live in the county he hails from, and before he announced his bid for president, I'd never heard of the guy. He didn't make any kind of waves in the local scene. He was a one-term, do-nothing political hack that, although he managed to get his name tacked to a lot of other people's work, didn't author a single piece of meaningful legislation his entire term. Granted, that was probably because he started his presidential campaign as soon as he took state office, but you see where I'm going with this. Hussein was a bush-league player, with nothing even close to the political clout needed to play in the Chicago Game. Yet there he stands today on Pennsylvania Ave., having bullshitted his way to the top. But how?
One thing everyone needs to be a big-time politico is cash, and plenty of it. So where did Hussein get all of his? He's got no family money behind him (no American family money, at least), no real estate magic wand, no oil wells or gigantic stock portfolio to draw from, no big business to fund him. So where did all the money come from? Who is backing him, and pulling his strings?
Is is all George Soros and his globalist cronies? Is he receiving UN funds channeled to him through his corrupt family in Africa? Are the ragheads throwing him dough, sheiks and emirs sodden with oil revenue trying to up their stake in a massive global power play? Has COMINTERN resurfaced, and making a last desperate gamble to put their socialist stamp on the greatest country the world had ever known? Did Castro send him a bunch of Russian money, still pissed after all these years that he didn't have the stuff to make it to the big leagues? Is China finally fed up that all of the fun and nifty stuff they make in their factories keeps getting shipped to the States instead of the local Great-Wall-Mart? Is it a combination of all of the above, or just our hard luck that Cosmic Fate decided there hadn't been a really big karmic shit-sandwich in a long time so it served one up?
And what about his man-of-the-people image? The one he likes to wear despite having virtually nothing in common with most Americans? He grew up overseas, studied at least for a time in a muslim religious school of the type known to be hostile to Western thought and ideology, and when he decided it was time to come back, hung out with domestic terrorists and hate-filled preachers, all bent on destroying the American fabric of life because it didn't suit their warped needs. Yet he storms out of nowhere to hoodwink enough people into swallowing his shit and oozes his way into the driver's seat.
Now he's increased the national debt to record levels, has made a push for government control of several industries, wants to socialize medicine, wants a paramilitary group answerable only to him, and has inflated the size of the federal government to Mr. Creosote-just-before-he-explodes proportions, seemingly creating the need for a new "czar-of-the-moment" every other day.
Hussein is a shifty, deceitful little bastard. I wouldn't trust him half as far as I could throw an Abrams tank. What I trust even less are the little imps that have to be behind the curtain, because one thing is for sure: Harvard law degree or not, Bammy ain't that smart.
What I'm saying is this: yes, Hussein is a total fuck-jacker who is doing his level best to screw shit up for America. But we all know that now, so maybe it's time to push the puppet aside and start looking for the puppeteers.
Of course, that still won't stop me from taking shots at the easiest target. It's just good practice.
