I'm going to implement a new award today here at the Sidearm. I occasionally give out the Complete Shit-Head of the Day Award, mostly to liberal types who personify, by word or action or both, the rank stupidity so prevalent in this country. To counter that, Constantine's Sidearm hereby commissions the "10 Paces" Award, which will be given out to those who have the courage to stand up against the rising tide of politically correct liberalism and fire their own shot of truth in this ideological duel.
The first-ever "10 Paces" Award is bestowed on Joe Wilson (R-SC) for his perfectly apt "You lie!" outburst during Hussein's yak-fest last night. Even though Rep. Wilson has since apologized to the prez (which Bammy accepted, even though his Dumbocrat sycophants won't), he has also refused to apologize further, in spite of the Dems insistence that he apologize on the floor of the House. I only wish he wouldn't have offered the first apology. We need more of that kind of action. Personally, I think duelling ought to be decriminalized; it would make running-mouth liberals think twice before spewing their garbage wherever they felt. And there are more than a few that could stand a thrashing with a hickory cane as well.
At any rate, I look forward to more of these awards. Good shot, Rep. Wilson!
