Incurable and Unredeemable

Two English brothers, ages 10 and 12, plead out to avoid attempted murder charges after torturing and sexually molesting two other boys, aged 9 and 11. They plead guilty to robbery, sexual abuse, and causing grievous bodily harm. The attackers had been scheduled to talk to police the day of the attack, concerning another assault. The article in the Times says they were seen to be grinning at the table while court was in session. The brothers' parents were not in attendance.

Violent, depraved, would-be killers before they reach their teens, obviously amoral with no sense of right and wrong. Unfortunately, Britain has no death penalty. These pieces of human filth, these demons in human form ought to be tried as adults and executed. They will never be rehabilitated, never be anything more than a danger to themselves and the communities around them. Many tax dollars will be wasted keeping these animals alive in prison, while they will in all likelihood spend the rest of their lives.

This is not an issue of children growing up in war-torn countries becoming violent in an effort to survive. These boys are degraded monsters who get off on thrill-killing. I hate to say this about any children, especially ones who have not had a chance to fully develop, but there are exceptions to every rule. You don't need to let an infected plant grow to maturity so it can poison the whole garden. The Good Lord is the only one who can redeem these boys now; I say it should be left to His hands.

Story here.
