Not that I really read the rag very much anyway, but occasionally I'd see one lying around and leaf through it for kicks. Never fucking again!
Why all the rage, my phantom cavalier, you may ask? Why all the hatin'?
Well, after soundly boxing your ears for saying "Why all the hatin'?" to me, I'd point out the utter foolishness, the outright stupidity, the fawning ass-kissing of the wretched excrement that passes for an editor at Newsweak, one Evan Thomas. Thomas said, in an interview on MSNBC, that Hussein was above America..."sort of God."
That assessment, in any context, is absolutely, 100%, totally pure-D fucking WRONG! It is the epitome of stupid to even suggest such a thing even offhandedly. Because we're not talking about the "Clapton is God" kind of idolatry this brings up, but more of the "Worship the State/God does not exist" type of thing. Another example of the media trying to deify Hussein.
So, let me be blunt in my response: Fuck Evan Thomas, Fuck Newsweek, and Fuck Obama.
