Okay, I'll be straight with you: I'm mad at the Pope.
I say this as a Catholic and as a conservative.
What is his deal with coming out in support of a Palestinian state? Is it just diplomacy or does he really feel that way?
Actually, I don't care even if it is diplomacy, it still pisses me off. Why should the Pope ever support a homeland for a people who practice a religion that is the antithesis of Christianity? He ought to tell them that the Jews and Jesus were there first, and they need to get the hell out. Then he ought to whip out that nifty staff of his, start chanting in Latin, and lay down some old-school Catholic mojo on those terrorist punks.
I've never hit a Pope before, but there's a first time for everything...
