The Senate GOP is considering a filibuster to block the nomination of Dawn Johnsen to head the Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel. Johnsen is well-known for her pro-abortion stance. So, good for the Senate GOP. Filibuster your silk socks off. Find a way to slip the entire text of "Paradise Lost" into the effort. Quote the Bible. Quote the plummeting stock pages. Make a laundry list of all the idiots on the Demo-Rat side; that will allow you to name 99.5% of their roster.
Here's the rub to all of this: the National Abortion Rights Action League is mobilizing nation-wide to condemn the filibuster. NARAL prez Nancy Keenan deems it "unacceptable".
Boy, I remember only a few shorts months ago when filibustering, protesting, and challenging the president on every step he took were some of the Most American Things You Could Do. People needed to Stand Up Against Tyranny. It was all Part of the Democratic Process.
Well, apparently the socialist left only meant that it was OK for them. Now that they have their shit-for-brains marxist muslim-loving punk in the driver's seat, suddenly to do those things has become subversive, racist, divisional, un-American, and just plain not nice. Those of us on the Right side of the fence (also known as living in reality) are just mean-spirited hate-mongers who aren't willing to see the 57 sides of every issue and are really harshing Hussein's buzz, wanting to see him fail.
I know I sure do. I want to see Hussein fail so grandly that his name is stricken from every history book and any mention of his existence is blotted from memory. Much like when the ancient Egyptians would chisel out a Pharaoh's name and pull down his statues and temples.
So, in the spirit Standing Up to Tyranny, let me voice my extreme displeasure with "the one" for even considering this woman for the post.
