A Fine, Fine Day!

I went out with a friend of mine today to exercise our 2nd Amendment rights. We spent the morning shooting skeet, talking guns, and generally having a blast in the fine Spring weather. Taking advantage of our freedom.

We fired nearly 150 shells in 3 different gauges (and would have fired more if we had the time), and an amazing thing happened:

Guns didn't kill anyone! I know the socialist circus that is the White House these days and the MSM might find that hard to believe, but it's true.

There were even 2 guys in the stand next to us, both with firearms, and their guns didn't kill anyone either! Imagine that! 4 guns, several hundred shells, plenty of lead flying through the air, and no one got killed. Nothing at all got killed. No people, no animals, no birds, no Democrats, nothing. Maybe a few insects that picked an unfortunate time to flit past the muzzle, but that's all. And I'm pretty sure those insects had tiny dynamite vests on, so really, you could say we were heroes. Who knows how many anthills we might have saved?

My point is this: not only was this morning an exercise in freedom, it was a demonstration of a fact that has long been ignored by the Soros and Brady Brigades: guns don't kill people. People kill people, and they'll do it with whatever they can get their hands on: guns, knives, hammers, hatchets, rope, cars, bats...the list is endless.

Banning guns does nothing more than provide more victims for criminals. It also provides a defenseless citizenry for a government to enslave. Neither of those two things is a good thing. That should be self-evident, but for many people it is not. Which is why organizations like the NRA need to exist, to save people from the tyranny of the few. Which is why I belong.

God, Guns, and Glory. That's what it's all about.

And remember: Guns don't kill people. Dads with pretty daughters do!
